Introduction
I am full time search engine optimiser for Private Label Dating Sites.
Please forgive me for the grammatical mistakes made in this Guide Book as English is my fifth
language. 
I launched my first private label dating site on 23rd
July 2010. I would admit I didn’t have much
knowledge that time on how to make money from dating sites. I was then guided by one dating
sites optimisation expert. He showed me on what I need to do to bring free and organic traffic to
my sites. He explained me the easiest and effective ways of bringing organic traffic to dating
sites. I followed his tactics and one day my site started appearing in Google for targeted
keywords. Since then until today, I never looked back.
Now I have several niches and location based [Local Geo] dating sites. Most of my dating sites
are optimised for related keywords. I have targeted medium and low searched keywords and my
sites are working very well in search engines and this is how I make money. I will endeavour to
give an idea to potential dating webmasters on how they can make serious money from their
private label dating sites.

This Private Label Dating Guide Book will help those who are not familiar with private label
dating sites. I will tell you on what to do to bring free and organic visitors to your dating sites and
how to make good income from your dating sites. I have taught these techniques to many people
and trust me they are making very serious money from their private label dating sites.
I make tens of thousands income from my sites every month and I would be very happy if you
would start making such money from your dating sites too.
Today, I am going to tell you how you can start making serious money from your private label
dating sites. I am not going into much details of everything as most of the web masters are
already aware of most of the techniques. I will give you an idea on what you need to do such as
how to set up a dating site, how to optimise it for search engines to get free organic visitors. This

White Hat Methods
This Guide Book is about white hat methods and how to rank your site in Google for
chosen keywords with white hat methods.
This Guide book is not about Ewhoring. Some dating webmasters think that Ewhoring is a very
profitable way to make money with dating sites, well it might be true but Ewhoring is not a long
term solution. Some dating webmasters practice Ewhorring to make quick and instant money
from their dating sites but I don’t. EWhoring is referred to when dating webmasters post Ads [in
free classified forums in women seeking men sections] posing themselves as beautiful girls to
attract men’s attention to their Ads and when men reply to those ads, the webmasters send them
message and direct them to their dating sites and some webmasters go to different chat rooms and
direct people to their dating sites from there. Ewhoring might bring quick money but certainly it’s
not a long term solution to make money from dating sites. The long term solution is to prepare
your sites for Google and make money from organic visitors for long term period.
How Much You Can Earn
It depends on your dedication and commitment to make money online. I personally make tens of
thousands each month from my dating sites which pull traffic from SEO only. I also make very
decent money from my from other dating site which is on paid advertising

Other Ways of Promotion
Let me clarify few things before we go ahead.
If you are not into SEO and you don’t fancy SEO,
don’t worry this is not the end; there are still other
ways to promote your dating site.
You can promote it with other Free Methods such as Face Book
Pages, You Tube Videos, Yahoo Answers and dozens of more free
methods. Bring free traffic to your dating site and make money.
If you can afford, Paid Advertising is a very good method of getting
instant and targeted traffic. I have 1 site which is on paid promotion and the return is
always great. The money I spend on Ads gets returned with the initial payments from members
and then their recurring payments are my profit. The good thing about dating site members is that
dating sites are quite addictive and once members make payment to become a member, most of
them will stay on dating site for months. I have some members who are continuously members
for more than 2 years on my different sites; thus I make more money with the recurring payments
of members on my dating sites.
There are many platforms where you can have paid advertising to your site and get traffic to your
site with the help of images, banners etc
The beauty of recurring payment is that as the time pass by; you will be getting more and more
recurring payments. Obviously in your first month, you won’t have recurring payment but only
initial payments, but second month you will have recurring payments from your first months; and
then third month, you will have recurring payments from your first and second months and so on
the number of recurring payments will grow each month as the site gets older.
Our standard price for Gold membership varies from country to country and also depends on
currency the members are making payments with. I will give you example of UK, the one month
Gold membership is for £29 in a standard plan but obviously this might change as sometime,
company will offer discounts to those members who are on your dating site for longer period of

Keyword research
Let’s discuss keyword keywords research briefly.
It is very important to do a proper keyword research before you register a domain name. A good
keyword research will end up with good domain name. I personally use Google Keyword
Planner and Market Samurai to do a keyword research. There is a free version of Market
Samurai available to download. You can do a satisfactory keyword research there. I will not be
writing much about keyword research as most of you are aware on how to do it. I will only
emphasise that once you have selected dating niche and you are happy to launch your own brand
of dating site in that niche, then you should go ahead and do a proper keyword research. Make a
list of keywords which you will be targeting.
If you don’t know on how to use Market Samurai or Google Keywords Tool for keywords
research, please refer to You Tube, there are some very good tutorials to learn from.

What Keywords to Target
This is very important to know.
You need to make a list of keywords to target them. During my 3 years of SEO experience with
private label dating sites, I have discovered that low and medium searched keywords are very
easy to be ranked in Google. If you try to target highly searched keywords from day first, I am
afraid it will not work as such highly searched keywords are very competitive. Many people are
after them and some of them are already ranking them in Google for years; so to compete them
will only bring disappointment.
The best way is to target low and medium searched profitable keywords; once you rank a
good quantity of low and medium searched keywords, only then you can go ahead to target
highly searched keywords. To be very honest with you, I never try to rank highly searched
keywords as I do focus on low and medium searched keywords. Once I rank some low / medium
keywords, then I focus on targeting more and more such keywords, that way I make my sites
more and more exposed in Google for dozens of keywords. At the moment I have hundreds of
such keywords ranked on Google’s first page.
Only target Low and Medium Searched keywords in the beginning, once you have ranked them,
then you can go for highly searched keywords.

Domain names
It is very important to have a good domain name in terms of SEO. It is also essential to have
appealing domain name for your visitors to remember that domain name. These are few of the
characteristics you need to consider when registering a domain name
Good domain names have your keyword in it. Have a list of your primary keywords. Start
pairing them; add prefixes / suffixes to create good domain names ideas. If you can’t get a
keyword in domain name, don’t worry, get appealing domain name instead.
Good domain names are always unique. Don’t try to confuse your domain name with your
competitors, as they are already in the market and known by others. Having similar names as
them might send your visitors to their sites in confusion.
Good Domain names are short. Try to keep your domain name as short as you can so that your
visitors remember it.
Good domain names are easy to remember. Your visitor might try to remember your domain
name for next visit. Make them easy to remember.
Good domain names are easy to spell. Good domain names are easy to spell. Good domain
names have .com; if for some reason you can’t get .com, try to get .net or .org as they have the
same authority as .com
Good domain names are descriptive. If you have descriptive domain name, it will give an idea
to visitors on what your site is about.
Avoid Hyphens in your domain name. You might think it’s easier to get a domain name with
hyphen, yes it is but one reality is that your visitors might forget to put hyphen in your website’s
URL, it might send them somewhere else, so my advice is to stay away from hyphens.
More important is that you are happy with the domain name. If you think you are happy with it,
most probably most of your visitors will like your domain name.
Let’s say you want to build a dating site in senior dating niche. The best thing will be to have a
list of all your keywords and then try to find a suitable domain name based on one of your
keyword. In this case your keywords are over 40 dating, mature singles, senior singles,
mature dating, senior dating, mature love, mature romance, over 40 romance, over 40
singles, and so on. If you start pairing these keywords, you will come up with something. If you
can’t come with something reasonable with your primary keywords, you can try to pair your
secondary keywords to see if you can come up with appealing domain name.
If you would like to create a Geo - location based niche dating site [such as vegetarian dating in
Canada, Sports dating in Australia, Lesbian dating in France], then there are more chances
that you will come up with very good domain names.

Chapter 1: How to Create Your Site
It is very easy to create your own brand of dating site at Private Label Dating Provider. You need
to register as a partner. Registration will only take two minutes.
Here is a step by step guide to show how to make your own brand of dating site.
Create a Site
Click on Create a Site and it will take you to the next step. On the top left hand side you will see
Tab Create a Site, which is your first click for creating new site.

Choose the niche market where you want to build your own site such as Adult, Senior, Cougar,
General, Professional, Gay, Adult, Divorced, and Lesbian etc.
On right side you will see the available templates for each niche. Choose one of the templates you
like. [You can customise your template later on with your own text, logo, images and almost
anything you like – You can also add banner codes there etc.]

Initial Settings
Now choose the countries where you want members from. I recommend choosing international
for your niche based sites to enhance the profitability of your sites.
Age restrictions depend on your sites. If it is not aged based niche; then select age from 18 – 99.
If it is age based sites such as senior dating site or cougar dating site, then put the required ages
there. Like Senior dating is for people who are above 40 and cougar is for women who are above
35 and they are looking for men under 35.
Select Languages. [It depends on where you market your dating site] or select all languages if
you are planning to promote in the desired language country as well as in the other countries.

Site name is important; don’t simply put your URL there. Your site name will appear to everyone
who receives emails from your site. Such as if your site URL is www.CasualHotties.com then
don’t put your URL but put just Casual Hotties, so anyone receiving newsletters or emails from
your site will see your site name as Casual Hotties which seems better than full URL.
There are few pricing models such as discount, standard and elite. I recommend you to go for
standard one initially. You can change your pricing model occasionally such as if there is a
festival in your market country, then you can change your pricing model to discount one and send
newsletters to your members to tell them that now they can save money on Gold Membership
because of blah blah festival. It will make many of your members to upgrade quicker because
they can see savings on Gold Membership. When I usually send newsletter to my members and
tell them about the discounted offer on gold membership, it encourages many of my members to
upgrade. I usually give discounts on religious and national festivals / celebrations.
You can see that payments are accepted in different currencies and different payment methods.
This is a very good practice as it increases chances of many members buying gold membership.
Make sure you choose all payment methods because it will boost your profitability. Some of your
members might not have credit / debit card and they would like to pay with alternative methods.

Your Domain Details
Here you enter details of your domain name.
You will also need to change the DNS servers of your domain name. You can find DNS details in
the above image and also in your admin panel on left hand side under your account manager
details.
If you don’t have your own domain name, you can create sub domain names of one of the Private
Label Dating Provider domain names available. I strongly suggest registering your
own domain name because it will be your own brand of dating site.
Now you can click on Create your site and then publish it. It will be on the web in few hours’
time after moderators have checked it.

Customise Your Dating Site
It is advised that you customise your dating site.
Go to Sites in your admin panel, click on Sites, Click on Edit and you will see the following
page. Here you can control most of the things on your dating site.

Initial Settings
You have already been through initial settings as you have created your site.
Advanced settings
Advanced settings are more about whether you want your visitors to sign in to your site via
different channels such as with their Yahoo, Face Book details.
Select all of them and Save. This will allow your visitors to sign in to your site via their face
book, Google, yahoo or live / msn details. It is a good tactic to turn more of your visitors in to
members. Choosing all of them will maximise chances of many of your visitors converting as
members on your site.
Once you select all of them, Save them and Publish your site. After its being published on the
web, the following icons will appear on front page of your site, allowing your visitors to log into
your site via one of these channels.

Meta Information
The whole web master community try to maximise their visibility in the search engines by using
Meta Information. It is important that you are aware on how to optimise your Meta tags. Use your
keywords in Meta Information to prepare your sites for search engines visibility. The below meta
tags are very rough meta tags on one of my site, so please use nice meta description and
keywords in meta tags.
Title
It is a header which is seen by visitors when your site is seen on search engines.
It is important for you to use your keywords in your page title. Use keywords in your title as it
will help your site to appear in search engines for those keywords. Don’t have a long sentence as
a very long sentence might be ignored by Google. I would advise make it about 60 characters.
Meta Name
Use your keywords in this column. Search engines don’t give them more importance to these
keywords anymore as it has been extremely abused by the on line marketer in the past but it will

not take more than a minute of you, so I strongly suggest you to write your keywords in here.
Don’t use a single word more than twice or thrice as it might be considered as spam.
Meta Description
Here you need to describe what your site is about and what your visitors will find on your site.
Write a nice and appealing sentence here. Please don’t follow my example in the image as this
one is not appealing one. Have a nice sentence with your keywords in it. Your sentence should
not confuse your visitors. Write a clear, short and descriptive sentence on what your site is about.
Make it under 200 characters. This tag is often displayed in SERP.
Tracking Codes
Though Private Label dating Provider will provide you with all the necessary data such as
statistics of your visitors and their behaviour on your dating sites but it is advisable to have a
Google analytics enabled on your site, so that you can study your visitors’ behaviour in more
depths. Create Google Analytics Account and create tracking codes there for your dating sites to
analyze your sites performance.
You can also track your visitors converting as a member on your sites and also your members
making payment on your site. This way you will have external body giving you further details
about your site’s visitors and / or members. Create Goals in Google Analytics Account.
You should use the last bit of URL for creating specific Goals in Google Analytics Account

Promo tools are very essential for dating sites. There are some of the world’s best promo tools
available in your admin panel to be used. It will help you bring more visitors and will convert
them as members on your dating sites.
You can use promo tools to promote your dating sites more effectively. Members list, IM Popups
and other tools are available. Create new banners with the tools below for your dating site, put
them on your site for specific reasons [like more conversion] or on your other blogs and sites to
promote your dating site.

On site optimisation means optimising the internal structure of your site. It is very important to
add unique content to your site and optimise all newly added pages on your site. Use your
primary and secondary keywords in relevant areas.
I advise you to add some unique articles to your site. Target your primary and secondary
keywords in your articles. Please remember one article for each keyword which works very well
in Google; it will help you to get free and targeted organic visitors to your sites.
Make a list of your primary and secondary keywords; write one article for each of your keyword
and add them to your site.

Creating Folders
You can create folder / folders on your site for new content. You can create one folder or maybe
more folders. It depends on how much content are you adding. It is just for your own ease to have
a folder, so that you can easily access your articles in admin panel. You can even add articles /
content to your site without creating folders on your site. Simply create new HTML page and
add your content there. I have personally made folders on some of my sites and on some sites I
have just simply added articles without creating folders. You don’t need any technical knowledge
to add content, create folders or add HTML pages; the system is very user friendly.

In the above example, you can see I have circled Create Folder. You can write your folder name
here which can be anything such as articles, essays, content or anything you like. In my case I
have given it a name of senior dating to it. As senior dating was one of my keyword, so I chose
to give it a name of one of my keyword. In the upper portion of the image, you can see my folder
name of senior dating. This is my folder and I add my new articles there.
To create new folders or HTML page, Go to Sites – Other Pages and File
Now you have option to either create folders for your articles or simply create new HTML page
by clicking on Add HTML Page to upload / add your articles to your site.
Creating HTML page
Once you have created folder, go to Sites – then Other Pages and File and you can see your
folder name there. Click on your folder name and you will see something like this in the below
image.
Here the folder name is senior dating. You can see I have added 3 articles to this folder with the
names of Mature Dating Site, Over 40 Dating and Senior Dating.
If you want to add new articles to your site, you write your article name in the Add HTML Page.
Make sure you use hyphen in between all your words in the Add HTML page column so that
your page name will appear well in the address bar. You can see in the above example that
instead of Mature Singles in USA, I wrote Mature-Dating-in-USA. Hyphens in between words
will help to make your page name appear properly in the address bar without any other element in
the page name.
Once you have added your page name to the Add HTML Page, a new page will open and you
can optimise your Meta tags here for that page and also add your unique content there.

You can even create Add HTML Page without creating folders. As I said above it’s only for
your own ease.
Meta Information for Article Page
After adding new article to your site, you should optimise the Meta Information for that article
page. Use those keywords in the Meta Tags / Description which you have used in that specific
article as it will help to rank the article in Google easily.

Page Title
Use your main keyword in your page title. This keyword should be related to your article. Make
the title as impressive as you can.
Meta Name
Use your secondary keywords in Meta name. It is established that search engines don’t give much
importance to these Meta tags but it doesn’t take more than a minute to put them there and some
search engines might be giving them at least some little importance, so therefore it is important
that you fill this space with your keywords. I would suggest putting about 15 keywords in Meta
tags. Don’t overload it with all your keywords.
Meta Description
Meta description is important. This is a long sentence which shows what your site is about to the
visitors. Keywords from this sentence are also searched by search engines. You can write a long
descriptive sentence about your newly added article here or anything related to it.
Once you are finished with it, Save it.

Adding Article
This is the article body. You can add your article here, make necessary on site optimisation here
such as using H1, H2, H3 etc in your article, Create Paragraph here, Link some words to other
pages of your site, Add alt image here with your keyword etc etc.
Page Layout
Page layout is always default unless you are creating this page as a landing page in which case
choose it as a landing page.
Heading
Search engines give more importance to the page headings than any other part of the page. If the
heading adequately describes the content of that page, search engines will be able to more
accurately ascertain what the page is about.

Write impressive heading. Your heading will have more chances to appear in Google. Make it
short and unique. Don’t write a long sentence. Keep it under 65 characters.
HTML Headings
Heading styles are designed to be displayed in relative size. When HTML headings are used H1
is the largest, H2 is the next largest and so on.
Search engines generally give priority to keywords that are formatted with H1, H2, H3 and so on
to the other HTML headings because the use of a heading tag implies that the text has greater
importance on a page.
H1
Use your main keyword in your H1. In the above example you can see I have used Mature
Dating Site in a long sentence in H1
H2, H3 and so on
Use your secondary or other relevant keywords in your H2. You can see in my example that I
have used keyword [mature singles] in a long sentence in H2. In the second example, I have
used another keyword [mature dating] in a long sentence in H2.
You can use your secondary or related keywords in H3 if there is H3 in your article and so on in
other HTML headings if you have these headings in your article.
Paragraph
Make sure that you write your sentences between paragraphs icons. If you don’t use paragraph
icons to write a paragraph, your article might be seen broken when it is published.
Link Text
Many Search engines give a lot of importance to link text. Search engines assumption is that link
text will be descriptive of its destination and that’s how examine link text for all links that point

to any page. It is important to optimise your internal links for search engines and also for the
ease of your visitor’s navigation.
Make sure you put a descriptive text there such as Meet Vegetarian Singles instead of Click
Here because Click Here will not give any information to search engines but Meet Vegetarian
Singles will tell search engines that the destination page is about Vegetarian Singles.
You can see that I have linked my keyword [mature dating site] in H1 to my site’s main page.
This is good for your site’s internal building too. Highlight your keyword and link it to either
your site main page, registration page or any other relevant page. Don’t link all your keywords in
one article to other pages but maybe once or twice in a single article. Use the Link icon for
linking.
Sitemap
Please make sure that you tick mark XML site map. This will show your newly added page in
your sitemap and thus crawled by search engines.
Alt Image
If you are adding images to your site’s front page or to your article pages, it is highly
recommended that you use alt image tags. It will tell Google what your image is about. You
should use your keyword as the image name. It is easy for human to interpret the image into its
meaning. However for a web crawler the whole interpreting process is a completely different.
Search engines spiders can only read text but not images. That is why special tags are required for
images used to give them some meaning.
Sometimes people go on Google and search for keywords and select images instead the whole
web and that’s where your images will appear for the keywords used as alt image tag. You might
have seen that sometimes when you are searching for some keywords, Google displays images;
these are all alt images tag. By doing this you are increasing visibility of your site in Google.

Keywords Density in Articles
Keyword density can be described as a percentage of times a phrase or keyword appears in your
article compared to the total number of words in that article.
In late 90s keyword density was one of the important factors in how a page was ranked. When it
was widespread amongst webmasters and they were highly relied on it, it became a minor factor
in the page rankings. Search engines have started giving importance to other factors to display
websites in response to searches which were quite beyond the control of webmasters. These days,
overuse of keywords causes a page to be penalised. Overuse of keywords in article or page is
called keyword stuffing.
Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly. If it is too low, you will not benefit from it and
if it is too high, your site might be flagged for keyword spamming.
It is very important that you are aware of the keywords density in the article. Don’t do keywords
stuffing. You should be careful in using keywords in your articles. The recommended density is
1% - 2.5%.
Please remember that you are writing your articles for your visitors. Don’t do keywords stuffing
in your articles as it might annoy your readers. Your articles will also not look natural. Stick to
recommended density of keywords and only use keywords as required naturally in your articles.

Google Page Rank
This by definition is the algorithm that Google uses to measure how relatively important a
web page is. Most people consider the Page Rank to be that little green gauge found in the
Google toolbar.
This feature has a ranking system of 0 to 10. However this is not an actual Page Rank. It is
often referred to as TBPR, as in Toolbar Page Rank. Have in mind that the toolbar doesn't
display current or accurate data.
During link building you should avoid TBPR. Instead get a quality link from a source that has
the ability to direct traffic to your page.

Direct Link
Direct links are those links which don’t have any anchor text in it. It will be your

It is established that direct links don’t carry much value in terms of SEO. Webmasters still
do for the link diversity.
Anchor Text
Anchor text is a clickable text of a link. Keywords are used as anchor text.
Let’s say you have left a comment on someone’s blog. In your comment you have mentioned
Cougar Dating and you have linked this keyword to your site. Now when a reader is reading
your comment, he will know that he is being redirected to Cougar Dating. Search Engines
will also determine that the destination site is about Cougar Dating. The more quality

members who have not logged in since blah blah time and inspire them to login. You can send
newsletter to members who have registered on specific dates or to those one who speak specific
language. Also you can choose the age limits, sex and members countries to customise your
