The experience provided a good opportunity to observe how the school operates and manage students.

A Monte Carlo simulation model was developed to minimize the average time per incident (TMPI) for Microsoft's paid per incident support service. The model reallocated the volume of incidents (N) among products within major service groups while holding total N constant. Random N values were generated based on uniform distributions and 10,000 simulations were run to produce probability distributions of total TMPI for different scenarios. The best solutions identified the reallocations of N that resulted in the largest drops in average TMPI. The results suggested that test cases reallocating N values randomly identified solutions reducing TMPI by a few percent to as much as 20%.

The teacher is also a person a student can confide in. Students can talk to teachers about where they want to go in life and teachers can help them find a path. Teachers are at the front line of shaping the future. Their biases make their way into the brains of children, influencing them and thus influencing the future. A teacher has to be aware of this and proceed with teaching with caution. Teachers must also find a way to present the material in a way the students will understand and enjoy.
