Studying in college provides many benefits for students' future lives and careers. It allows them to become autonomous and learn time management skills. College also teaches good habits from lecturers that are useful for getting jobs, such as dedication and hard work. Students learn cooperation through group projects, building relationships that can later help them find jobs through their supportive network of friends. Overall, college prepares students for their futures by developing discipline, manners, cooperation skills, and social support systems in addition to academic knowledge.

1. Topic : Why do people study in college?
A college is a place which people want to study in there. Students can learn
more knowledge in books and, of course, knowledge in their lives. Many students have
so many reasons to continue their study in a college. Some students want to study at
college because they are thinking about their future life, some are thinking about
going on their study to the next level after they graduate from senior high school, and
some hope to find job easily. So, why do people study in college exactly?
First of all, in my mind, college can be a place to learn knowledge by our self.
Knowledge in this is not meant something we can learn from books, but it is meant
that something we can learn from this life. When we study in college, we can
understand how to learn about this life. We can be a better person. We can learn how
to arrange our self to be autonomous. This is the very difficult characteristic which we
have to build from our young age. Some people are very hard to make themselves be
an autonomous. They are hard to arrange themselves be a discipline people. And, I
think studying in college can make people be an autonomous easily. Before studying
in a college, students are arranged by their parents or even their teachers at school.
But, when they are in a college, they have to arrange their life by themselves. They can
learn how to arrange their time, when they have to wake up, when they do sport, when
they study with their books, when they hang out with their friends, and so more. From
that moments, students can be an autonomous person.
Secondly, studying in a college can teach us to learn anything good from our
lecturers. Those are very useful for our future life and job. Some students can learn the
characteristics of their lecturers. It is important for them when they will find a good
job. The good capacity is really needed when we go to work at an office. What is the
relation of learning lecturers’ characteristics and when we will find a good job? In my
opinion, we can learn the good habits from our lecturers. Some lecturers have good
habits which are always showed to their students. And, of course, students have to
follow their good habits. The good habits can be very useful for students when they

2. want to find a good job for their future. Jobs do not only need knowledge, but also
good manner, dedication, and hard-working. That is why I think that there is a relation
of learning lecturers’ characteristics and when we will find a good job.
Thirdly, studying in college make students understand how they can help
others. In college, students have so many activities. They have projects which have to
solved with others who are the member of the project. There are so many members in
the project, of course. They can know each other. If they can start the project together,
they should finish it together, too. If they have problems, they should solve it together.
They can not be an arrogant person. They can’t selfish to each other. They have to do
it together, until they finish it. That is not as easy as in the senior high school project.
Why? Because they should start the project by themselves, until they can finish it.
Lecturers will never command them. So, they should cooperate with their friends. This
situation will build a cooperation in their feeling.
Fourthly, a supportive relationship in a college can help you find a good job in
the future. Studying in a college can make you must have many friends. Besides you
can help each other in projects’ university, you can also help each other when one of
you all is finding a job in his/her future. For example, if one of them has been worked
at an office, on the other hand, the other still do not have a job, so the people who
have a job can help his or her friends who do not have.
In conclusion, for me, studying in college is so important. In college, students
can learn so many things which they should know before they face their future.
Students do not only have to learn knowledge from their books, but they should know
about their lives. They have to understand about how to be a discipline person. Being
an autonomous person is not easy. And they should be like that to be a better person
in their future life. They also have to learn how to be a person who has good manners
in study and work. It is important when they are in college, meet lecturers, and of
course when they will look for a job. Then, in college, students should learn about
doing projects together with their friends. It can teach them for always helping people

have friends. They can help each other when one of them is searching a job. Not only
can help each other in their college project, but also in their real lives for job.
