This document summarizes a conference presentation focused on embracing growth mindsets in education. It identifies three main themes: [1] embracing a growth mindset by recognizing potential for growth and seeing failure as an opportunity; [2] entangling students in a web of connection through various support services and extracurricular activities; and [3] turning up awesome by taking steps to reinvent and redefine practices in a positive way. The presentation provides examples of these themes and encourages attendees to consider how to apply them to amplify instruction and deepen student learning.
