2. Video 1 – BMTH Layering
• In the Bring me the Horizon video they use
layering which is where a number of different
pictures are layered over and under each other so
that you can see each image in one photo.
Lighting: I like how the lighting behind it is white, I
liked this because it defines the layering more and
makes it better to look at. For example in the
video the lighting and background switches from
white to black.
Editing: I like how the images actually move
behind the silhouette of the lead singer. For
example the fire moving and burning behind the
singer in image 2.

3. Video 2 – Justin Bieber Cartoon
In the Jack U song ‘Where are you now’ I like how
they used cartoons, drawings and affects on Justin
Bieber to make the video interesting and creative.
Lighting: much like the Throne video the
background lighting is always white, this makes the
drawing and affects more defined and it means the
attention is on the artist and not things in the
background.
Special Affects: As you can see in both pictures
special affects are used on Justin as he dances and
sings. Drawings of fire are placed onto his hands
and in the first picture the whole of Justin's body
has an affect on it. This just makes the video more
unique and interesting.

4. Lethal Bizzle – Lighting and Props
I really like the song Fester Skank by Lethal Bizzle
for its really good Mise En Scene and props during
the video.
MES – I like how the costumes and outfits of Lethal
Bizzle and the extras in the Video constantly change
with the topic of the song. For example in the
second picture LB is in an army costume because he
is talking about Rambo. This makes the video really
interesting as its not the same thing through out
the song.
Props – I like how cool props are used in the song,
for example in the first picture LB is seen sat on a
toy Lambhorghini because he says ‘You might see
me in a Lambo’. He also has props like a Ferrari and
a Horse.

5. Ed Sheeran – A Team
I like the Video of The A Team by Ed Sheeran
because of the lightng of the video and also the
different affects and transitions that they use
between and during shots.
Lighting: The lighting throughout the video is all
natural lighting as you can see in both the
pictures. This makes the video more simple. It
also makes the video more realistic as the camera
follows the girl.
Transitions/Editing – I like how the scene in the
bottom picture is a 5 second time lapse of the girl
standing alone and still as the traffic goes by her. I
like the effect and it links well with the story of
the video as well as the song.

6. Niggas In Paris – Kanye West and Jay Z
Editing/Affects: I like how the in the
video the Camera vision is doubled so
you can see two of everything on
screen. I like this affect because its is
unique and its not something you see in
videos that often.
