5T is a private company in Italy that focuses on Intelligent Transport Systems design, development and management. It manages the Traffic Operation Centre in Turin that integrates with public transport monitoring. 5T is working to expand this centre regionally and implement an electronic ticketing system for public transport across Piedmont. It offers specialized consulting services to support public administration in mobility and transport.

Who we are
 5T is a private company owned by local public institutions, whose focus is
on ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) design, development and
management, at the service of individual and collective mobility, both at
urban and at regional level
 5T manages the Traffic Operation Centre (TOC) in the metropolitan
area of Torino, integrated with the public transport real-time monitoring
system, to get smoother traffic and to improve the performance of public
transport
 5T is now working on the extent of the TOC to the whole Piemonte regional
area and on the implementation of the Regional Electronic Ticketing System
(BIP Project), aiming to integrate in a unique contactless smartcard the
entire mobility network in Piemonte
 5T offers highly specialized ITS consultancy services with the aim to
support Public Administration in mobility and transport sector: traffic, public
transport, infomobility and ticketing

 Muoversi in Piemonte is the real-time traffic information
promoted by Piemonte Region and coordinated by 5T
 The service provides real-time updates on main events
that may affect traffic on regional roads: traffic
interruptions, weather conditions, traffic jams, accidents
and emergencies
 The information are delivered through 4 different
channels:
− Radio bulletins and news reports, every day from 7.00am to 8.00pm,
broadcasted by local and regional radio stations
− Website (www.muoversinpiemonte.it) where
travellers can check real-time traffic situation
on a map
