KINDS OF SENTENCES ACCORDING TO FUNCTION
1. Declarative sentence states an idea and ends with a period.
example: Different wild flowers grow in different regions of the United States.
Most people do not enjoy taking risks.
2. Interrogative sentence asks question and ends with a question mark.
example: What harm did the delay cause?

3. Imperative sentence gives an order r direction and ends with a period or exclamation mark.
example: Call the insurance agent, please.

4. Exclamatory sentence conveys emotion and ends an exclamation mark.
