Digital technology can be used in literacy classrooms to engage and motivate students. It transforms learning by connecting students and innovating instruction. Some benefits are that technology provides publishing opportunities, stimulates motivation through an intrinsic value, and immediately develops a learning community. It also supports the five keys of media literacy: understanding message creation techniques, different interpretations, presented values and viewpoints, and message purposes. Digital technology opens opportunities for student expression, problem solving, and media literacy through production, research, revision, and sharing processes. Feedback can guide assessments by analyzing information accuracy, opinion analysis, storyline development, and audience engagement when using digital technology.

Educational technology is a field of study that investigates the process of analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the instructional environment and learning materials in order to improve teaching and learning. It is important to keep in mind that the purpose of educational technology is to improve education. We must define the goals and needs of education first and then we use all our knowledge, including technology, to design the most effective learning environment for students.

- Fiction and Fashion Book Blog
"O iubeam pentru că era atât de lipsită de inhibiţii — atât de pasionată, de încrezătoare şi de inteligentă. Şi îmi lipsea să-i simt corpul, să obţin plăcere de la ea şi, la dracu’, să-i ofer plăcere la nesfârşit."
This presentation accompanies a webinar by Victor Ngobeni from Microsoft, South Africa. In the webinar Victor says, "“In this webinar, I would like to focus how Technology and Pedagogy mix as one of the units of the Teaching with Technology course, but I want to do this rather differently in a way of making it more interactive. I would like to make sure that the participants share strategies/ideas amongst each other of how they are able to “marry” the methods that they are using in the classroom with the relevant technology tools."
This ppt gives information about traditional TLMs like boards, flashcards, models (2D & 3D), and different types of boards, and also about modern TLMs like a computer, CCTV, TV, teleconferencing, and the like.

I was asked to present a presentation on "How cautious should we be when adopting digital technology in Education?" We should remain very cautious. Even the that which is presented as the best, remains nothing more than content replication.

2. How the Digital Technical is imbedded in common courses ?
• The theory of assignments and projects create media
• The process of Digital Technology is very instrumental in editing aps,
Lesson Plans when it comes to your students learning Grade Level
Expectations
3. What the Learning Process Involves Using
Digital Technology?
Engages
Motivates
Transforms
Connects
Innovates
• The objective
of using video presents
engagement,
accessibility and
publishing opportunities.
• The intrinsic value
stimulates
motivation.
• A Community is
developed
immediately.
4. The Five (5) Keys that Media Literacy Provides
and contributes to the Learning Process
• 1) Who created the message?
• 2) What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
• 3) How might different people understand
this message differently?
• 4) What life styles, values, and opinions of views that are
presented and or omitted from this message?
• 5) Why is the message being sent?
5. Self Expression
• Emphasizes a voice for students
• Investigates activities
• Problem-solving activities
• Creates Media Literacy
Digital Technology opens up learning opportunities to students. There are
common expressions to discuss. The role to make components actually
began to take place.
6. Outline – Production, Script, Story Board, Brainstorming
Gather Data – Research, Variety of Sources, Pictures,
Voices live, etc.
Deconstruct the Message – What you want to edit, apply
What you have been asked to gather
Revise – Critique, Edit, Add content, Delete content,
View – Observe, Share to publish the information
researched
Opening Learning Opportunities
7. Quotes Regarding Valuable Learning
“To fail” is just the first attempt of learning . . . -by Pearson.
“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but you can teach
him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning
process as long as he lives”. . . -by Clay P. Bedford
8. Feedback
Feedback is critically analyzed. Feedback guides assessments when the
Instructor can use digital technology by means of including:
• Accuracy of Information being conveyed (Does the data
make sense ?)
• Analysis of the subject matter opinion (Did the student show
analysis?)
• Storyline development introduces and provide examples
(summarization takes place)
• Engagement of the Audience (Quality is recognized in assessing the
information/data; where as judgment is non-applicable and
easier to monitor the assessment)
9. Ways to use Videos (Digital Technology) in the Classroom
• Field Trips
• Study Adventures
• Recording important lessons for students who are out of the
classroom due to illness or excusable reasons or other options
of students reviewing; “How to videos”?; students facilitating one
another.
• Public Speaking, Debates, Forensics
• ELL (English Language Learner Students)
• Book “*Trailers “(Creative skills use by students to show reviews on
learning material)
• Math Comprehension and Reviews for
flip lessons http://www.fliplearning.com/ (Allow students to empower
to collaborate and compete applying what they read in imagination
role playing utilizing digital technology.)
• How To Videos? – explain sequences, script, read (narrate), Step-by-
Step, Screen Captures, etc.
