2. What is a force?
is a push or pull that acts on an object due to
its interaction with another object.
It is applied on an object to cause changes –
movement, shape, or the direction it is moving.

can cause motion.

3. Kinds of Forces
`1. Applied Forces - push and pull forces
Pushing (moving an object away
from you) and pulling (moving an
object towards you) something
makes it move
Ex:
-Dribbling a ball
-Moving a swing
-Bringing a schoolbag close to
you

Things move due to wind.
Ex. Kite, leaves and
branches of trees.
Running water makes
things move on it. Ex.
Slippers, wood and leaves.
