Researcher Reliance on Digital Libraries: A Descriptive AnalysisIJAEMSJORNAL
The digital library is an information technology that is structured as a digital knowledge resource, or can be alluded to a medium that stores information for a huge scope and is teamed up with the information the board gadget equipped for showing the information or information required by the client. Digital libraries can be extensively characterized as an information stockpiling and recovery frameworks that control digital information in the media (text, pictures, sound, static or dynamic) on the web. The main aim of this study is to study the awareness and using pattern of digital library by the researchers, to analyse the influence of digital library on researchers’ efficiency, analyse the purpose of using Digital Library Consortium, decide the effect of problems and motivational components of the digital library on the users, evaluate the satisfaction level of users with coverage of journals and perspectives on training and awareness programs and propose the available resources for effective utilization of the Digital Library.

Describes why libraries should move toward a linked data future to enable their resources to be discoverable on the open web, and includes lessons learned from developing the eXtensible Catalog at the University of Rochester.
The present society is considered an information society. A society where the creation, distribution, use, integration, and manipulation of digital information have become the most significant activity in all aspects. Information is producing from every sector of any society, which has resulted in an information explosion. Modern technologies are also having a huge impact. So managing this voluminous information is really a tough job. Again WWW has opened the door to connect anyone or anything within a fraction of a second. This study discussed the Semantic Web and linked data technologies and their effect and application to libraries for the handling of various types of resources.
This session will talk about various SIL projects and initiatives (such as the FAST headings project and the introduction of Wikidata and WikiBase); how to incorporate linked data elements into MARC records; and how to develop staff and give them proficiency with new tools and workflows.
Data mining , knowledge discovery is the process
of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it
into useful information - information that can be used to increase
revenue, cuts costs, or both. Data mining software is one of a
number of analytical tools for analyzing data. It allows users to
analyze data from many different dimensions or angles, categorize
it, and summarize the relationships identified. Technically, data
mining is the process of finding correlations or patterns among
dozens of fields in large relational databases. The goal of
clustering is to determine the intrinsic grouping in a set of
unlabeled data. But how to decide what constitutes a good
clustering? It can be shown that there is no absolute “best”
criterion which would be independent of the final aim of the
clustering. Consequently, it is the user which must supply this
criterion, in such a way that the result of the clustering will suit
their needs.
For instance, we could be interested in finding
representatives for homogeneous groups (data reduction), in
finding “natural clusters” and describe their unknown properties
(“natural” data types), in finding useful and suitable groupings
(“useful” data classes) or in finding unusual data objects (outlier
detection).Of late, clustering techniques have been applied in the
areas which involve browsing the gathered data or in categorizing
the outcome provided by the search engines for the reply to the
query raised by the users. In this paper, we are providing a
comprehensive survey over the document clustering.

This short presentation highlights some recent and emerging technology that can be used to augment a library's web-based service and provide a higher level of user interaction as well as resource discovery and access.

An enormous number of organizations generate and share textual descriptions of their products, facilities, and activities. Such collections of textual data comprise a significant amount of controlled information, which residues buried in the unstructured text. Whereas information extraction systems simplify the extraction of structured associations, they are frequently expensive and incorrect, particularly when working on top of text that does not comprise any examples of the targeted structured data. Projected an alternative methodology that simplifies the structured metadata generation by recognizing documents that are possible to contain information of awareness and this data will be beneficial for querying the database. Moreover, we intend algorithms to extract attribute-value pairs, and similarly devise new mechanisms to map such pairs to manually created schemes. We apply clustering technique to the item content information to complement the user rating information, which improves the correctness of collaborative similarity, and solves the cold start problem.

created and published through web services. However, how to discover, integrate and reuse these distributed
heterogeneous research datasets is a challenging task. Ontology is the soul between series digital humanities
resources, which provides a good way for people to discover and understand these datasets. With the release
of more and more linked open data and knowledge bases, a large number of ontologies have been produced
at the same time. These ontologies have different publishing formats, consumption patterns, and interactions
ways, which are not conductive to the user’s understanding of the datasets and the reuse of the ontologies.
The Ontology Service Center platform consists of Ontology Query Center and Ontology Validation Center,
mainly using linked data and ontology-based technologies. The Ontology Query Center realizes the functions
of ontology publishing, querying, data interaction and online browsing, while the Ontology Validation
Center can verify the status of using certain ontologies in the linked datasets. The empirical part of the paper
uses the Confucius portrait as an example of how OSC can be used in the semantic annotation of images. In
a word, the purpose of this paper is to construct the applied ecology of ontology to promote the development
of knowledge graphs and the spread of ontology.

The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. Blong and Breitbart (2009) developed The Virtual Shelf “a visualization and collection building
interface for the Open Library collection that combines many of the features and benefits of both
physical and digital information systems” (2).
Schwartz (2020) studied discovery layer interfaces employed by five academic libraries to determine
how libraries can address the problem of users receiving too many hits when conducting a search.

Spiteri and Tarulli (2012) studied logs generated over the course of four month by social discovery
systems employed in two Canadian public libraries. Social discovery systems allow users to interact

Mountantonakis (2019) surveyed efforts to implement the promise of linked data including linking and
integration. By categorizing approaches to linked data integration Mountantonakis (2019) identified
potential future directions for cataloging research.
