This document summarizes the journal club meeting of July 31, 2012 for the Faculty of Medicine at Diponegoro University. A Case Study from Afghanistan
1. In your opinion, what are the factors influencing the state of
mental health problems in Afghanistan? Why do they call it “a
fragile context”?
2. What are the current strategies in improving the Afghanistan
mental health care system?
3. What does “community resilience” mean? Why is it considered
important?
4. What does barriers to access mean? Please explain its relation
to the mental health care delivery!
