InterMedia Partners would be the ideal media institution to distribute the document's media product because they currently produce Vibe Magazine, which was influential to the document's author. InterMedia Partners is an established New York City-based media firm that focuses on investing in the media sector for profit. Publishing through InterMedia would help the media product reach its intended audience.
This presentation is for my AS media course, I created this presentation answering a question that I need to answer in order to proceed in my media evaluation. The question is 'What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?'

2. Vibe Magazine
• The magazine that most influenced me was the music
magazine Vibe. Vibe is a music and entertainment
company founded by Quincy Jones. The publication
normally features R&B singers and hip hop artists, actors
and entertainers. Vibe was shut down in the summer of
2009, however, it was purchased and made into an
online magazine due to a larger online presence. Vibe
was purchased and is now produced by InterMedia
Partners. InterMedia partners are a firm based in New
York City who are invested mainly in growth capital into
the media sector. In other words, they are only interested
in making profit and being at the right place and the
right time in order to gross as much profit as they can. I
therefore conclude that the interest in Vibe Magazine
may not be reaching its full potential as customers may
feel that Vibe magazine (a predominantly hip-hop music
based magazine) should be produced and managed by a
music media institution.

If my media product was to be published, I
would hope to have it published by the same
type of media firm that produces Vibe
magazine (InterMedia Partners). I would like
to have it published by InterMedia Partners
because they are an established media firm.
Therefore, I feel this would help my product
get out into my targeted audience.
