Employment at SHS began as a Billing Clerk 1 and has resulted in numerous
promotions including Billing Clerk 2, Dental Biller and Dental Coordinator.
Currently, Billing Manager and Certified Medical Coder, duties include:
1. Coding and posting of Family Practice and OB encounters
2. Verify claim is coded properly
 CPT & ICD9 codes
3. Audit medical notes in the event the physician submits
conflicting information on the claim
4. Review hospital charts to submit correct physician charges
