Main lesson aims By the end of my lesson learners will be better able to:
 Talk about sports and games.
 Use their own sentences and micro dialogues the new words and structures
Materials used  The 2nd grade textbook “MAGIC ENGLISH”
 Copybooks
 Dictionary
 Blackboard
 Flashcards
Organization Class-work, individual-work, group work.
Skills Speaking, listening, reading, writing.
Main function Talking about pets.
Vocabulary Parrot, Turtle, Giraffe, Monkey, Hen.
Structures My parrot is noisy. It can talk.

Opening Greeting the class and taking attendance.
Warm up activity T divides the class into two teams.
Spreads out flashcards on the desk face down. Invites
students from each team to come to the desk one by one, to
choose a flashcard, say and write the word on the
blackboard. The team that names and writes all the words
is the winner.
Working with homework T calls on students who
volunteer or picks them
Vocabulary: T introduces new vocabulary and uses
flashcards to introduce new words. Students repeat the
words chorally and individually.
Parrot, Turtle, Rabbit, Dog, Cat, Giraffe, Hen, Monkey
Reading: T reads the text – On the farm - students repeat
each line chorally and individually- Ex.3 p.64
Speaking: Students role-play a conversation using the
words they know. T monitors and praises. Ex.1 p. 64
Grammar: T tells the students to find the words and use
them to desribe the picture. Ex. 4 p. 65
Reading:Some students read the text - Ex. 3. p. 64
Vocabulary: T approaches students and asks them the
learned structures. Elicits answers.
Writing: Students copy the new words in their exercise
books. Ex 1 p. 64
Home-work Ex. 3, 4 p. 64-65

LESSON PLAN Class 2nd grade Unit Unit three Lesson These are pets Length of lesson 45 minutes Sub competences 1.5; 2.4; 3.6; 1.3 Main lesson aims By the end of my lesson learners will be better able to:  Talk about sports and games.  Use their own sentences and micro dialogues the new words and structures Materials used  The 2nd grade textbook “MAGIC ENGLISH”  Copybooks  Dictionary  Blackboard  Flashcards Organization Class-work, individual-work, group work. Skills Speaking, listening, reading, writing. Main function Talking about pets. Vocabulary Parrot, Turtle, Giraffe, Monkey, Hen. Structures My parrot is noisy. It can talk. Evidence Learners will respond accurately in drills and oral exercises.

The words and sentences are pronounced slowly and clearly. 1.5. Recognizing simple, short questions and answers referred to the students’ familiar objects. 3.6. Reading aloud simple, short sentences with appropriate pronunciation, stress, intonation. U3.L7.Thesearepets Evocation Realization of meaning Reflection Extension - express thoughts in a free sincere way - learn to identify animals on the farm - develop oral fluency - practice asking for a description of a picture using the specific vocabulary - correctly identify new vocabulary in written, visual and aural forms Opening Greeting the class and taking attendance. Warm up activity T divides the class into two teams. Spreads out flashcards on the desk face down. Invites students from each team to come to the desk one by one, to choose a flashcard, say and write the word on the blackboard. The team that names and writes all the words is the winner. Working with homework T calls on students who volunteer or picks them Vocabulary: T introduces new vocabulary and uses flashcards to introduce new words. Students repeat the words chorally and individually. Parrot, Turtle, Rabbit, Dog, Cat, Giraffe, Hen, Monkey Reading: T reads the text – On the farm - students repeat each line chorally and individually- Ex.3 p.64 Speaking: Students role-play a conversation using the words they know. T monitors and praises. Ex.1 p. 64 Grammar: T tells the students to find the words and use them to desribe the picture. Ex. 4 p. 65 Reading:Some students read the text - Ex. 3. p. 64 Vocabulary: T approaches students and asks them the learned structures. Elicits answers. Writing: Students copy the new words in their exercise books.
