9. Silk Fibroin Solution
Degummed silk with ratio 1/20 (b/v) will transformed into solution using
Ajisawa’s reagant (CaCl2/H2O/Etanol, 111/144/92 in weight; or 1/8/2 in mole
ratio) (Ajisawa, 1998).
I modified this reagant with replacing CaCl2 into CaCl2.2H2O (CaCl2.2H2O / H2O
/etanol, 147/108/92 in weight; or 1/6/2 in mole ratio), then stir using magnetic
stirrer at 70°‒ 80°C during 2 hours to forming Silk fibroin solution (Darma, 2015).

1. The SF secondary structure tranformation from Silk I (Amorf; metastabil)
become Silk II (Crystalline; Stabil); and Crosslinking between NH3
+ (SF) with
OH- (ALG)  in aspect the functional group (FTIR)
2. Increasing Crystallinity degree because SF secondary structure of
transformation and Electrostatic interaction crosslinking  (XRD)

Average F1‒F3 respectively are 544,1; 762,7; 513,7%
Lowest = 414,3% (F3)
Higest = 844,4% (F2)
Fiber membrane with SF:ALG = 1:3 has the highest
ability to swelling, and when the amounts of SF
increased then this ability decreased.
