Dr. Lewis Teperman is the director of transplant surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and a member of the New York State Transplant Council. He is also active in the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), which will host its 23rd Annual UNOS Transplant Management Forum from April 22-24, 2015 in San Diego, California. The forum educates medical professionals such as transplant administrators, surgeons, and physicians on obtaining organs for transplant. UNOS is currently accepting abstract submissions for the forum by January 19, 2015.

The United Network for Organ Sharing
(UNOS) is slated to host its 23rd Annual
UNOS Transplant Management Forum on
April 22, 2015.

3.  The three-day event takes place at the
Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, located
on 1380 Harbor Island Drive in San Diego,
California. The forum is valuable for transplant
administrators, surgeons, and physicians,
among others, as it educates medical
professionals on the process for obtaining an
organ for transplant.
Currently, the UNOS Transplant Administrators
Committee is accepting abstract submissions
for award and poster presentation
consideration. All submissions must be received
by January 19, 2015 to be eligible.

4.  The committee will review all submissions,
focusing specifically on why and how
research was conducted as well as its
outcome and impact on the organ
donation and transplant field.
