Purpose: This assignment is designed to help you understand weather forecasting.
Meteorologists create news segments to inform the public of everyday weather,
potential severe weather and how weather systems form and behave.
Assignment: You and a partner will create a brief news segment informing the public
(classmates) of the weather. You may choose to have your forecast for the daily
weather, severe weather and/or use your segment to explain how a specific weather
system forms. Your weather forecast can be based off of existing weather data or be
completely fictional.
