Senators Ron Johnson, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee wrote to Google CEO Sundar Pichai to express concern over evidence from researcher Dr. Robert Epstein that Google may have politically tilted search results and reminders to vote in favor of liberal candidates during the 2020 election. Dr. Epstein's research found that between October 26-29, only search agents registered as liberal received reminders to vote on Google's homepage, and the targeting stopped after materials about the research project were sent to a reporter. The senators request Pichai review responses to previous congressional inquiries on this issue.
