He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

15. Arts and Science Transfer program
The admission requirement for the program is English 30-1 at a 65% or
English 30-2 at a 75%. That’s it! Many institutions do not accept ENGL
30-2. However, because Norquest does, students take first year university
English. When UofA or MacEwan sees ENGL 2550 (equivalent to their
ENGL 102/103) this then substitutes the missing ENGL 30-1 requirement
and they are able to submit their application for admission.
Students currently in this program all have an early admission to the
University of Alberta, MacEwan University, University of British Columbia
and University of Calgary.
Current students have applied to programs such as: Faculty of Nursing,
Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Wildlife and Fishery and the Faculty of
Arts and Science.
All current students will be transferring all their university courses that
they have completed with Norquest and they will be entering into their
second year.
