- 2. Introduction An experienced e-commerce and data center entrepreneur, Ron Cadwell divides his time between his professional activities and various charitable pursuits. In his role as principal contributor for the Cadwell Foundation, Ron Cadwell has supported the work of a number of organizations, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital. In a recently released statement, Phoenix Children’s Hospital announced that radio stations KTAR News (92.3 FM) and Arizona Sports (98.7 FM) had collected over $1.58 million in donations during the 2016 Give-A-Thon for Phoenix Children’s Hospital fundraiser.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital The two stations set aside nearly two days of primetime programming for the 19-hour simulcast radiothon and asked listeners to become Champions of Hope by making a $20 dollar monthly donation to the Hospital. The 2016 Give-A-Thon was the most successful in the event’s 16-year history and marked the seventh consecutive year that KTAR News and Arizona Sports have raised over $1 million in donations. All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Hospital’s Hope Fund, which supports new research, clinical programs, and patient services.
