2014 sawcrude oil price remain relativelystable at $108 on average across Q1-Q3with a severe decline in
Q4 which saw prices fall to $54 per barrel. Nigerian domestic production also showed a slight increase
from 2.14 mbd [2013] to 2.23 mbd [2014] average across Q1-Q4, with stable production sustaining
growthinrecruitmentandallowedformovementofprofessionals.
On average, companies in the Oil & Gas sector continued to rely less on expatriate workers in 2014 and
instead focused more on identifying and recruiting qualified Nigerian talent from the local and
internationaltalent pool.We predictthatthistrendwill continue into 2015 as local content requirements
coupledwithcostreductioninitiateswillseemoreexpatriatesbeingreplacedbyqualifiedNigerians.

for2015.
