This document discusses using Agile methods in non-Agile organizations. It advocates for an evolutionary approach to change, starting by respecting existing roles and processes and encouraging leadership at all levels. Introducing Agile requires addressing people's needs and providing experienced coaching as organizations transition over time, rather than attempting revolutionary changes. While only about 20% of change programs typically succeed, focusing on individuals, collaboration, responding to change and continually improving working software can help non-Agile organizations adapt Agile principles.
