As you might imagine, rolling out an all-encompassing intranet in the largest hotel company in the world, with over 100,000 staff operating in more than 150 countries around the world, is a pretty big deal. As the Development Director for Merlin, IHG’s corporate intranet, Leah has spent most of the last year of her life doing just that. In this presentation Leah will offer insights, advice and some of the hard lessons learned straight from the coalface of one of the biggest and most business critical projects IHG have undertaken in recent memory. She will discuss technology decisions, supplier relationships, user engagement, and why communications planning and internal stakeholder management are crucial to success.

In business, we spend precious time building relationships and value-added offerings for our customers that, in theory, should lead to long-term customer loyalty and sales. However, in reality, we often don’t see the return in our revenue stream. It’s a costly game that everyone plays. And if we’re honest with ourselves, the real cost of the game is much more than money—it’s also time, energy and focus.
But what if you could have an unfair advantage in the game? A bit of foresight, better strategy, and an action plan—an “Edge” so-to-speak? Wouldn’t that change the game completely?
In this insightful keynote, direct marketing veteran Trish Witkowski will flip the current soft-sell craze on its head and fundamentally change the way you think of sales and the customer relationship. By using basic Blackjack principles and incredible insight from counting cards, Trish will remove the emotion and uncertainty from the sales process to provide a more rational view of the business relationship. Attendees will learn how to:
• Anticipate the customer’s actions
• Reset unbalanced business relationships
• Start new business relationships on the right foot
• Play a smarter sales game and win more business
You’ll walk away with an Edge, armed with actionable steps to dramatically increase revenue and forever change the way you approach sales.
Founded in March 2017, Big Tiny is the first company in Singapore to integrate the concept of “tiny houses” with eco-tourism. “Tiny houses” are part of an international trend of simplifying lives by reducing the size, and therefore the resource consumption, of homes without sacrificing quality of life.
Big Tiny takes the movement one step further by placing its beautifully designed, handcrafted compact homes on wheels in spectacular rural settings. The intent – to amplify the benefits of the “tiny house” movement by pairing the advantages of a thoughtfully efficient abode with the recharging potential of an intimate connection with Mother Nature.
The brainchild of 3 young Singaporean entrepreneurs, Big Tiny stems from a desire to 1) offer the city dweller a chance to experience the perfect escape from a hectic, digitally-laden lifestyle; and 2) enable anyone to have a part in this new way of living.
Digital Strategy And storytelling - District32 business leaders - doyle buehl...Doyle Buehler
Isn’t it cool - it’s the greatest time in history, as we have access to literally billions of people around the world.
Yet, it’s also the worst time in history because we have access to… literally billions of other people around the world.
Competition is fierce; you’re essentially 1-click away from disaster.
It’s never been easier to get your story out there, but it’s also the hardest time because there is so much more noise out there. Isn't business fun?
In the Digital Age, story matters now more than ever. If you have a strategy you can tell your true story. If you don't, you get lost in the noise of everything else.
We were born to tell stories & we know how to listen to them, but rarely how to tell them. The story is what gives your customer clarity & certainty.
It’s not a story about how awesome you are. Nor even how you might be the next “amazing” founder.
Nor how you are going to “change the world”. They’ve heard it all before.
Nothing seems to work in marketing? Can’t figure out who to blame?
Ask yourself, what’s your strategy & how are you telling your story?
Story matters in creating your own certainty, your own future for the real hero, your customers.
This is your strategy. Welcome to digital storytelling.

We often focus on the wrong things, at the wrong time, and leave too much up to chance or hope. Build it and they will come doesn’t work in the digital space. Content is king doesn’t work either. Automation is not a full solution either. There are sometimes too many factors to try to consider all at once. We fundamentally are missing some of the key ingredients to be able to build a clear and compelling marketing message, without the fluff.
Here's some of what we're going to be covering...
How to build a persuasive digital platform that speaks to your target audience
How to create a strategy and execute tactics so you can surround your buyers with a complete and experiential journey
How to position yourself in the top 3% of online businesses
How to create, drive and schedule your content that reflects your audience and their buying journey

Specialty retailers who are not participating in social media miss opportunities every day to serve and build stronger bonds with their customers. From customer service, to customer acquisition, to community building and influencer outreach, specialty retailers have an opportunity to leverage their competitive advantage as place-based entities and members of their community to build relationships and drive sales. In this presentation, Sara Lingafelter, Social Media Specialist at REI, will present a case study on REI's local social media program, share her views on unique opportunities for specialty retailers, and host a Q&A session, from which multi- and single door retailers will be able to take away best practices, tips and tricks. Whether you're a Google+ early adopter or still haven't claimed your Yelp business listing, this presentation will provide practical advice for developing your own local retail social strategy.
Originally delivered at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2012 in January, 2012, this presentation also includes relevant stats, studies, and tips for brands and non-retail companies who are participating or thinking about participating in social media.

Umberto has over 15 years’ experience specializing exclusively in advising clients in M&A, capital market transactions and in financial services businesses. He has joined Osborne Clarke in 2008, after an extensive experience in international law firms, with the purpose to strengthen the corporate and financial services group of the Italian offices. Umberto’s experience centres on investment funds, investment banking, leverage finance and financial regulations.
At crowdfuture he will showcase the Crowdfunding Regulation across Europe and he will analys if the Italian regime could be a model for the other Countries?

Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
https://bit.ly/BabeSideDoll4u Babeside is a company that specializes in creating handcrafted reborn dolls. These dolls are designed to be incredibly lifelike, with realistic skin tones and hair, and they have become increasingly popular among collectors and those who use them for therapeutic purposes. At Babeside, we believe that our reborn dolls can provide comfort and healing to anyone who needs it.
The Healing Power of Babeside's Handcrafted Creations
Our reborn dolls are more than just beautiful pieces of art - they can also help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Studies have shown that holding or cuddling a soft object like a stuffed animal or a reborn doll can release oxytocin, which is often referred to as the "love hormone." This hormone helps us feel calm and relaxed, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
In addition to their physical benefits, reborn dolls can also offer emotional support. For many people, having something to care for and nurture can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Reborn dolls can also serve as a reminder of happy memories or loved ones who have passed away.
