This document contains multiple data tables reporting on search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign performance from 2006, 2011, and a hypothetical campaign. The tables show click-through rates by ad position over time have decreased for top positions but increased for lower positions. A hypothetical campaign saw an overall 65.5% click-through rate, with 80.1% from natural search and 19.9% from paid ads.
