October 18 Newsletter

One class will shop at a time while the other sells items. Parents will be given money to spend but must return any funds not used. Students must follow rules around behavior and money handling or risk losing privileges for Market Day.

- 2. About the Teacher My name is Marcie Hanks. I have 2 boys, Tyler is 16 and Trever is 10. This will be my 3 rd year working at Crossroads Charter Academy. My first 2 years were in the Title 1 Department and I am very excited as this is my first year with a classroom!!

- 14. Classroom Management I feel it is extremely important and beneficial for students to have and understanding of being held accountable. They need to be rewarded for being responsible for themselves and have consequences when they are not. I have worked out a money system that will hopefully encourage them to make the right choices .
- 15. Special Projects This section is a secret…shhhhhh I don’t have all of the details worked out yet. There will be plenty of notice when I do. ...and Many More!
