This document presents a decision tree for determining one's stance on the nature of ethics. It asks a series of yes or no questions that branch out to different ethical positions. If one believes anything can be right or wrong and we can know what is right or wrong, but also that what is right or wrong differs between individuals, the stance would be relativism. If instead one believes ethical judgments can be true or false, the stance would be cognitivism.
