that begins with the letter and supports an event or character from the book. For
each ABC book page, type or write the word or phrase you brainstormed for the
featured alphabet letter, draw or design a picture that represents it, and type or write
an explanation of how the text and picture relate to the book. Check out other ABC
books for great examples, like B is for Blue Planet: An Earth Science and T is for Taj
Mahal: An India Alphabet.

name, pictures of the main characters at an intriguing or interesting part in the story,
and filled with color. Movie posters should catch the eye of their audience, so make

they respond to you? For this assignment you will need to write at least ten interview
questions for one or two characters from the book, and an answer for each question
from the character’s perspective. You will need to make sure the answers your
character gives show their personality and opinions. Type up your interview and turn it
in with a cover sheet and in a report folder. Get creative and have fun!
4. Commercial Break So you’ve seen many commercials and I’m sure you’ve said that
Break:
you could have done a better job if you had written it. Here’s your chance! For this
assignment you will need to write a one minute commercial that advertises the book you
have read without giving away the ending. You will also need to make a puppet that
represents one of the characters from the book to perform your commercial during
your presentation. Your goal for the commercial is to get other readers interested in
reading the book, so make sure to mention some of the reasons you really enjoyed it.
Your commercial must be typed up and turned in with a cover sheet and in a report
folder. Remember to practice performing your commercial at home before the due
date!
