2. Who We Are
• The Italian Trade Promotion Agency is the government
organization which promotes the internationalization of
Italian companies. ICE operates worldwide from a large
network of Trade Promotion Offices.
• ITA’s main task is to facilitate trade and investments
between Italy and the USA.
• ITA operates a network of 5 offices in the USA: Atlanta,
Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York.

3. What We Do
Each office has nationwide responsibility for
specific products. Major sectors include:
New York - Fashion, Food and Wine, Ceramic Tiles,
Investments and Clean Technologies;
Chicago - Automotive, Industrial Machinery, 3D Printing
Technology;
Los Angeles- Biotech, Nanotech, ITC, Aerospace, Advanced
Materials;
Atlanta - Agricultural Machinery and Equipment,
Construction and Earthmoving Equipment;
Miami - Shipbuilding and cruising, Furniture, Lighting
and Home Furnishings, Giftware.

4. What We Do
ITA carries out different promotional activities
that are jointly funded by the Italian Government
and private industry.
Examples include:
• Italian pavilions at US trade shows
• Technical seminars and conferences
• Trade missions to Italy
• Business to business events
• Consumer oriented events
