This document summarizes a presentation about LG NanoH2O, a company that has developed an innovative reverse osmosis membrane with nanoscale improvements. The membrane allows for 50-100% more permeability and 25% better salt rejection compared to existing polymer technologies. This has led to energy savings in desalination plants of up to 58 PSI less pressure needed and 29% fewer membranes required. In 3 years, LG NanoH2O has installed their membrane in over 300 projects across 40 countries treating over 300,000 cubic meters of water per day. Their strengths include having the best-in-class RO membrane technology, a strong intellectual property portfolio, and experience and resources from their parent company LG Chem.
