male therefore I have never really faced many ethnically or sexually diverse
situations where I was treated poorly or differently. I am a Roman Catholic and
this set some of the stepping stones in many cases for certain views on things in
life. I taught at the catholic program that my church offers for a couple years and
am very involved with helping the youth in the parish. This is where I believe my
love or passion for teaching came from. While being at the youth group I learned

It was a special day at school for me since Galit gave me an opportunity to teach the
Shaharit lesson. I decided to plan a Trivia game about Israel independence day. I
divided the class into four groups and asked the pupils to compete with each other.
Every time I asked one group one question and the group of pupils that achieved the
highest number of points won. I found it very interesting that most of the pupils took
an active part in the activity. They worked together and it was important for them to
be the winners. It caused me to think about using games as a method of teaching, I
found that pupils like games and despite some difficult questions which I asked them,
they worked together very well in order to find the right answers. In general, I found

beginning of the lesson, I wrote on the board the topic of the unit inside your head
and asked the pupils some questions in order to elicit information from them. Then,

Then, I divided the pupils into two groups and asked them to compete with each
other. The pupils were asked to look at a chart in their books and make as many
words of three letters or more while they may not skip a box. I gave them five
minutes to write down the words and at the end of the activity I asked each group
of pupils to tell me the number of words which they were found and wrote the
number on the board. I think that at this point of the lesson it was important to ask
the pupils to read the words aloud instead of just ask them for a number. In addition,
I think that in my next lessons I can ask them to tell me which words they had
learned or didn t learn and write them on the board in order to teach vocabulary
