This document provides teaching guidelines for remote learning lessons via satellite for schools in remote areas. It outlines the aims, vocabulary, materials and activities for two sample lessons - one on short breaks on southern Thai beaches, and another on mountain biking in Chiang Mai province. The beach lesson focuses on revising vocabulary and grammar through a reading on spending a day in Hua Hin. The mountain biking lesson revises vocabulary and tenses while providing information on cycling areas in Chiang Mai and the benefits of biking. Suggested activities include mind mapping, questions and answers, and study tours.

Day 3 When in Hua Hin ---
After breakfast at the hotel, we took a walk to the beach to get fresh air. Then we drove to a new Phu
Fah store in Hua Hin. We were lucky to be there while Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was signing her
painting -ablueelephant holding abunchofflowers-duringthe opening ofthestore.The shopwasfounded
under her project to help people in rural areas earn a living. We also bought some handicrafts at the Phu Fah.
Next, we visited the Khomapat store. My mum wanted to buy some materials for clothing and bags.
Dad and I wanted two shirts each.
In the afternoon we went shopping at Hua Hin Market Village, a large shopping centre where tourists
could eat good food at restaurants and see movies too. Mum enjoyed shopping a lot.
Our wonderful trip to Hua Hin ended so soon. I didn’t feel like leaving Hua Hin!

Chiang Mai province of northern Thailand is where I spend a lot of my time doing mountain biking.
One of my favorite riding areas falls to a lovely national park of Doi Suthep-Pui-Mae Sa. The park is located
to the west and northwest of the old city of Chiang Mai.
I myself is fond of bicycling in the country-sides and widerness, especially in high mountain sides of
the north.
Cycling is one of the best ways when it comes to exercise. Your mind and body feel the freedom of
being outdoor traveling by own power. You may wish to new played seeing new things all the time. When
riding especially, slowly up hill your mind would react and concentrate to fully utilize your internal energy.
Therefore, it is good to your entire body systems.
