One of my friends Mr. Ajit Gadre has sent me this fantastic PPT. I liked it so I am sharing this. Many thanks to him. This shows how small, tiny and नगण्य
we are in this Universe.
For your viewing pleasure. Worth downloading to get the full effect of the presentation.
I receive several PowerPoint presentations through e-mail, so I thought I'd share them. I just post them. I didn't creat them :)

Optimise-GB provides you with a free template for the programme start up document. This document is based on MSP, Lean and Six Sigma programme methodologies. The key difference and unique perspective for this methodology is that the programme never closes down but focuses on continuous improvement. This document reduces the number of documents that can often lead to confusion. The document sets the reason for the programme in regards to operational strategies, objectives and balanced scorecard reporting. As with most programme management methodologies, the document focuses on the now (Current state / as is) again the future (to be / future state). There are several inbuilt excel templates to boot including objectives weighting mechanisms, SIPOC flow diagrams and business cases. Please contact me should you have any questions on simon@optimise-gb.com and visit www.optimise-gb.com for more details. Many thanks Simon Misiewicz

The CMD’s mission is to be the leading public advocate in the city of the economic and cultural importance of design. It financially and logistically supports and stimulates private and public initiatives related to design in the city. It assists local entrepreneurs in launching their ventures, coordinates interaction between designers, design managers, business executives, academics and policy makers and promotes the importance of design to the city’s economy.
One way that the CMD is working to draw attention to design as a tool of economic growth is the revitalization of the southern end of Barracas, by turning it into a design district. The Project Design District is still being formulated, but plans have focused on offering preferential loans, tax cuts, and subsidies for the restoration of buildings to design related companies that would install their offices or workshops in the area surrounding the CMD.

The Hubble Telescope has again demonstrated its remarkable capabilities by capturing a stunning image of the Sombrero Galaxy, which resides at a distance of over 28 million light-years from Earth. This galaxy is situated along the southern edge of the Virgo cluster. The Sombrero Galaxy, also known as Messier 104, is characterized by its distinctive appearance, resembling a wide-brimmed hat or sombrero due to its prominent dust lane encircling its bright central bulge. This recent image from Hubble adds to our understanding and appreciation of the mesmerizing beauty and complexity of the universe.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
Gopinath Rebala
Gopinath Rebala is the CTO of OpsMx, where he has overall responsibility for the machine learning and data processing architectures for Secure Software Delivery. Gopi also has a strong connection with our customers, leading design and architecture for strategic implementations. Gopi is a frequent speaker and well-known leader in continuous delivery and integrating security into software delivery.

GraphRAG is All You need? LLM & Knowledge GraphGuy Korland
Guy Korland, CEO and Co-founder of FalkorDB, will review two articles on the integration of language models with knowledge graphs.
1. Unifying Large Language Models and Knowledge Graphs: A Roadmap.

2. Microsoft Research's GraphRAG paper and a review paper on various uses of knowledge graphs:

2. The Sombrero Galaxy - 28 million light years from Earth - was voted best picture taken by the Hubble telescope. The dimensions of the galaxy, officially called M104, are as spectacular as its appearance. It has 800 billion suns and is 50,000 light years across.
3. In third place is Nebula NGC 2392, called Eskimo because it looks like a face surrounded by a furry hood. The hood is, in fact, a ring of com et -shaped objects flying away from a dying star. Eskimo is 5,000 light years from Earth.
5. The Hourglass Nebula, 8,000 light years away, has a pinched-in-the- middle look because the winds that shape it are weaker at the centre.
6. In sixth place is the Cone Nebula. The part pictured here is 2.5 light years in length (the equivalent of 23 million return trips to the Moon).
7. The Perfect Storm, a small region in the Swan Nebula, 5,500 light years away, described as 'a bubbly ocean of hydrogen and small amounts of oxygen, sulphur and other elements'.
8. Starry Night, so named because it reminded astronomers of the Van Gogh painting. It is a halo of light around a star in the Milky Way
9. The glowering eyes from 114 million light years away are the swirling cores of two merging galaxies called NGC 2207 and IC 2163 in the distant Canis Major constellation.
10. The Trifid Nebula. A 'stellar nursery', 9,000 light years from here, it is where new stars are being born. MAYUR MARU
11. The Ant Nebula, a cloud of dust and gas whose technical name is Mz3, resembles an ant when observed using ground-based telescopes. The nebula lies within our galaxy between 3,000 and 6,000 light years from Earth.
