This document describes the development and results of a new massage research curriculum at Cortiva Institute taught over four quarters from 2008-2009. The curriculum aimed to teach students research literacy skills and have them write a case report. Initial student and instructor feedback indicated the courses lacked clarity and real-world application. Later iterations made the courses more interactive, using recent research examples. Student perception of the courses improved, though case report work remained stressful. Instructors' confidence in teaching research grew. Future studies on massage research curricula were recommended.
