In June 25 2006, one of the world’s richest men, Warren Buffett, pledged a sum of
approximately 10 million dollars to the foundation in order for the Gates to further their
efforts in helping the underprivileged.
In 31 December 2014, it received an endowment of $44.3 billion.

They created savings accounts, insurance and other financial services that were made
available to people in living on less than two dollars a day.
They identify and fund solutions that have a high impact on people living in poor health

healthcare together with discovering solutions that are affordable and reliable.
They invest heavily in vaccines to prevent infectious diseases like HIV, polio and malaria.
