1. Previously on 100 Days of Awesome:
ANASTASIA (V.O.): A complete waste, I tell you. He’s squeaky
clean. In terms of WTDs, I mean. Not in terms of wanting a ring
on his finger first.
ANASTASIA (V.O.): Well, okay, so it wasn’t a complete waste. If
you know what I mean.

2. Hello, and welcome to 100 Days of Awesome, starring the made-of-
Awesome Tsvirkunov family. They are currently running at nine
objectives accomplished for nine days of trying, and if some of that
involves the community lot rule, well, that’s perfectly legal.
You may notice the new cover. That’s due to a change in the
family composition. Hopefully, this cover will be around for a
while yet.
The 100 Days Challenge was created by Callista over at the old
Boolprop, and the only change I’ve made is to decide that it’s okay
for Sims to go to work or school.

3. GEORGIANA: Mamaaaaaa! Wan ow noooooooow!
ANASTASIA: All right, all right. I’m getting up. Cool your jets,
huh?
GEORGIANA: Wan ow nooooooooow, Mama! Nooooooow!

4. ABBEY: Why don’t I take over here, Anastasia? You can go back
to sleep.
ANASTASIA: But Georgie wants out.
ABBEY: I’ll take care of her. You stay in your room. You can take
care of today’s task.
ANASTASIA: And what’s that?
ABBEY: Someone needs a visit from the Social Bunny.

5. ANASTASIA: I only said yes because they promised that if I got
the Social Bunny to visit, then I could do the community lot task
too. Buy a cheap date and get it to a Dream Date? Pffffff… No
problem!

6. ABBEY: I usually ask for a community lot task at the same time as
a regular task. I think it’s legal, as long as we do our best to
complete the task. Sometimes I ask for an alternative, too. I mean, I
know Anastasia is looking forward to a date, but I’m not sure you
can call the matchmaker from a community lot. If it’s simply not
possible, then our alternative task is to make friends with a service
Sim. But we only use the alternative task if the original one is
physically impossible. I want to be clear about that.

7. REBECCA: But Mom, what will we do if Anastasia doesn’t end up
with a Social Bunny in time?
ABBEY: Why wouldn’t she?
REBECCA: How long does it take for a Social Bunny to show up?
ABBEY: I don’t know, but how hard can it be?
REBECCA: I don’t know either, but we don’t want to lose the
point just because we’re overconfident.

8. ABBEY: You have a point. Let’s set a deadline. Say, nine p.m.?
REBECCA: And then what?
ABBEY: And then, if there’s still no Social Bunny, I’ll go to a
community lot myself and try calling for a date. If that doesn’t
work, I’ll… I’ll make friends with a service Sim. Somehow.
REBECCA: But you’re so Shy, Mom! How are you going to
manage that? Can’t I do it for you?

9. ABBEY: I’ll be fine, sweetie, really. I’ll have twenty-four hours --
I’m sure I can manage something in that amount of time. And if
dating is possible, you couldn’t do that. Which is the primary
objective anyway.
REBECCA: But --
PONG: No dating other people, Rebecca. Please?
REBECCA: Oh, all right.

10. ANASTASIA: Going jogging for a few hours. Nice and solitary,
and it’ll wear me out so I sleep and don’t see anybody. Don’t talk
to me, okay?

11. ALLYN: While New Mom is out running, I’m going to teach Percy
how to Come Here. (to Percy) Come! Come here, Percy! Come to
me! Come on! Over here!

12. ALLYN: Yay! You made it over! Good dog! Good doggie! (to
Abbey) Isn’t Percy smart?
ABBEY: Yes, sweetie -- it only took ten minutes to respond.
ALLYN: Are you being sarcastic?
ABBEY: Sorry. I suppose your mom and your aunt are rubbing off
on me. But if you keep it up, I’m sure Percy will learn. Would you
like some dog treats to help with the training?

13. ALLYN: No thanks. Dog treats are for dogs that aren’t smart
enough to figure things out. (to Percy) But you’re smarter than
that, aren’t you? Good dog! Good doggie!

14. REBECCA: I think the whole “social isolation” thing is getting to
Anastasia…

15. (Smoke alarm blares)
ANASTASIA (OFF): What’s going on?
ABBEY (OFF): Everything’s fine! It’s safe!
ANASTASIA (OFF): Can I come out and see?
ABBEY (OFF): You stay in your room!
ANASTASIA (OFF): What happened?
ABBEY (OFF): Nice try, kiddo! We’re not talking to you
anymore!

16. ANASTASIA: It’s not fair. They all hate me. I hate being cooped
up in here. Why can’t I go out and see people? (sigh) You know
it’s bad when Mr. Brickles starts looking good…

17. PONG (V.O.): I wouldn’t have thought it would be that hard. I
really wouldn’t.
ABBEY (V.O.): Oooh, she’s yelling in the back yard! What’s she
yelling about?
REBECCA (V.O.): She doesn’t like the broken sprinkler,
apparently. She’s being quite emphatic about it. Oh, now she’s
hitting it with a hammer.
PONG (V.O.): Where’d she get a hammer?
REBECCA (V.O.): Search me. Mom, what time is it?
ABBEY (V.O.): Ten p.m. (sigh) I guess I’d better get going, huh?

18. ABBEY (V.O.): I borrowed Rebecca’s phone for the evening. I
couldn’t call the matchmaker, but that why I went to Tropicana
Too. It’s not my usual type of place, but it’s got both a deejay and a
bartender. They’re service Sims, right?

19. ABBEY (V.O.): Unfortunately, I couldn’t get near the bartender to
have a conversation, and you can’t talk to the deejay while he’s
deejaying.
Note from esmeiolanthe: I fixed the not-matching bar and counter at the end of
that particular gameplay session. Sorry!

20. ABBEY (V.O.): But there’s more than one way to skin a cat, right?
I just called up Descartes’ old boss, from when he worked a few
shifts in the cafeteria in college. From when Descartes worked a
few shifts, I mean. The boss still works there. It was kind of
awkward, since I hadn’t seen him in, oooh, probably fifty years.
And we kept having not-so-great conversations. But still…

21. ABBEY (V.O.): Mission accomplished!

22. ANASTASIA (V.O.): Mom promised that I could do the
community lot task. I don’t think it was fair of her to go and do it
herself.

23. ANASTASIA (V.O.): So the Social Bunny showed up at three in
the morning, so what? These deadlines are completely ridiculous
and arbitrary.

24. ANASTASIA (V.O.): So it’s only fair that I should get to do the
next community lot task, right? Only it turns out to be a lot stupider
than going on a date.

25. ANASTASIA (V.O.): I mean, “learn how to make a new meal”?
Really? Who comes up with this stuff? What’s wrong with “make
out with five different sims” or something?

26. ANASTASIA (V.O.): At least I’m, ah, “friends” with the owner of
the diner, so I can use their stove and stuff. And when I say
“friends,” I mean [bleep] type of friends.

27. ANASTASIA (V.O.): There. Stupidest task ever, done.

28. ANASTASIA: Hey, this isn’t bad at all. I should cook more often,
because I’m really good at it.

29. REBECCA: It’s been a pretty good day, actually. I gave Percy a
bath, Pong helped Winifred with her homework, Anastasia got
some gardening in, I’ve got some salmon going… It’s nice to have
days like that sometimes.

30. ABBEY: Rebecca? Aren’t you going to take care of today’s task?
REBECCA: Yeah, okay. As soon as I finish washing this pan.
ABBEY: Maybe you should leave the pan for a minute. It’s just
that it’s getting late, and I don’t want you to get distracted.
REBECCA: 6:15 is late? Okay, I’ll handle it.

33. ABBEY We really have been lucky with the tasks we’ve been set
recently. With adequate preparation, we should be able to handle
anything, but how do you know what to prepare for? But our latest
task will be not only easy, but fun! Especially for the kids.

34. ABBEY: What kind of cake do you want this afternoon, Allyn?
ALLYN: Can I have any kind I want?
ABBEY: Of course you can! It’s your birthday.
ALLYN: But it’s Georgie’s birthday too.
ABBEY: She’ll have her own cake.
ALLYN: Two cakes?! Oh boy!

35. ABBEY (V.O.): It’s great to see the kids having so much fun
planning.
WINIFRED: What kind of cake are you going to get?
ALLYN: I don’t know yet. One with lots of frosting, though. Like
three inches of frosting. And maybe some sugar flowers.
ABBEY (V.O.): Well, time to take care of today’s community lot
task, I suppose.

36. ABBEY (V.O.): I’m supposed to give a townie a makeover, which
is why I came to Makeshift Clothing. Well, that and because Allyn
and Georgie are going to need some new clothes this afternoon. I
know the business isn’t much to look at, but it’s got a vanity and a
clothing rack, and what else does it need, really?

37. ABBEY (V.O.): I’m sure a townie teen or a townie adult would be
acceptable, and the only difference between them and a dormie is
age.* I just hope the producers agree.
ABBEY: You know, your look is a little contradictory.
DORMIE: Yah?
ABBEY: Well, the clothes say “free spirit,” but the hair says “the
Man.” Would you maybe like a little help?
DORMIE: Dude!
*Note from esmeiolanthe: If any of my readers think that making over a dormie
is cheating, please let me know and I’ll remove the point.

38. ABBEY: There, see? Now it’s more all of a piece.
DORMIE: Dude, this is sweet!
AABEY (V.O.): I did say we’d been lucky in our tasks, right?

39. ANASTASIA (V.O.): They’re my kids, so I got to do the inviting.
It was kind of a random selection of guests, though. I invited a
friend of mine from college -- hadn’t seen her in too long, and
people are always up for cake, right?

40. ANASTASIA (V.O.): Georgie’s father, of course. He’s not real
involved, and we’re both okay with that, but now that Georgie’s
getting older, she has a right to decide if she wants to get to know
him better.

41. ANASTASIA (V.O.): I also invited a couple of Allyn and
Winifred’s friends. Georgie seemed more interested in them than in
her dad. Well, that’s cool too.

42. ANASTASIA (V.O.): I just can’t believe Allyn’s a Teen now.
ALLYN: Arrrgh, this outfit is terrible! New Mom, can I go
change? Please please please?
ANASTASIA: Sure.
ALLYN: Thank you!
ANASTASIA (V.O.): I’m not old enough to have a Teen.
ANASTASIA (V.O.): No, really, I’m not. Do the math.

43. ANASTASIA (V.O.): Still, it was a Good Party, and that’s all that
matters.
PONG (V.O.): All that matters is that it was a party. It didn’t have
to be any good.
ANASTASIA (V.O.): Are you saying that any party thrown by me
would be anything less than a Good Party?
PONG (V.O.): Er, no. No, of course not.
ANASTASIA (V.O.): I didn’t think so.

44. PONG: Yes, I was. But don’t tell her that.
