Hello! Welcome back to my Trailer Park Challenge, Fuchs That!
It’s pronounced to rhyme with “dukes.” Get your mind out of the
gutter. This challenge is made up of nothing but class.
At the start of the rotation, Goochie came into some money. I don’t
remember who from, but probably her former neighbor Ygraine.*
*See Auspicious It Ain’t, available on my Dreamwidth.
The money came in super handy. Now there are enough beds for
everyone in the house!
Not that this stopped Goochie from attempting a get-rich-quick
scheme (aka digging for treasure).
Which worked about as well as get-rich-quick schemes usually do.
This is a bad thing, since Dexter is kind of hard on the family’s
belongings.
I wonder… If Dexter reduces something to a pile of trash, can I
throw it away? Or do I have to try and sell it at the yard sale?
I didn’t get many pictures of Adrian this time around, even though
he was quite helpful around the house.
He’s very gentle and caring with Dior – you’d think the kid was
actually his.
Apparently, Cousin Calista was more interesting to me this rotation.
She spends a fair amount of time working on the junker car.
She’s not making any progress, really, but it keeps her away from
her other hobby…
…which is spying on the neighbors.
Via magic telescope, apparently, since it’s firmly pointed at a very
large mountain completely opposite to all the actual houses in the
’hood.
Adrian also contributes by discouraging telescope slappers. See?
He’s a good guy to have around.
Armani is doing quite well in school – a solid C average! And that’s
in spite of being able to say, with perfect truth, that the dog ate her
homework.
Armani enjoys jumping rope and often rolls a Want for it, but rarely
does it autonomously. If her Fun meter is high enough, I’ll direct
her to do it. Here you can see that she’s rule compliant.
This game of red hands was for Goochie’s benefit, since she needed
to go to work and had multiple orange meters.
It proved to be a worthwhile undertaking, since Goochie hit a good
chance card and got promoted to the top of the career ladder!
Or as high as she’s allowed to get, anyway.
And just in time, too! The family was down to their last simoleon.
Dior successfully Grew Up, and got a spiffy new hairstyle. I can
see him using this for the rest of his life, honestly. It makes me
think of the “greaser” look, and I can totally see Dior carrying
around a comb in his back pocket to make sure it stays looking
good.
I am a bit worried that he’s kind of… slow, though. Here you see all
the lovely toys that I spent a solid chunk of Goochie’s promotion
money on.
And here you see what Dior prefers to do for fun: sit on the back
porch and suck his fingers.
I suppose I’m not really one to talk, though. I must have made this
happen, because I don’t have ACR or Risky Woohoo. But I have
absolutely no idea when…
Until next time, happy Simming!
