Prayer for Good Weather
All powerful and ever living God, we find security in your
forgiveness. Give us fine weather we pray, so that we may
rejoice in your gifts of kindness and use them always for
your glory and our good. Amen
Summer Prayer
Creator of all, thank You for summer! Thank You for the
warmth of the sun and the increased daylight. Thank You for the beauty I see
all around me and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy your creation.
Thank You for the increased time I have to be with my friends and family,
and for the more casual pace of the summer season. Draw me closer to you
this summer. Teach me how I can pray no matter where I am or what I am
doing. Warm my soul with the awareness of your presence, and light my path
with Your Word and Counsel. As I enjoy your creation, create in me a pure
heart and a hunger and a thirst for you.

2. Distribution of Communion at Mass
Please note an Eucharistic Minister will go to the Gallery for the 11.30am
Sunday Mass for the distribution of Holy Communion.
FAI summer Camp
Begins in Cuilbeg on Aug13th to Aug 15th booking

C.P.R./AED:
There are currently AED/Defibs located at Community Centre ,Community
Football Pitches ,Sligo Park Hotel (2) GP Surgery Pearse Rd and Sligo County
Council Yard Ballindrehid ( 8 am to 4 pm ).
The code to open both defibrillator/AED protectors (Community Centre and
Community Field) is 2014 followed by pressing the correct (✔ ) key.
North West Stroke Group

Garland Sunday
A camion of Mercy from the Cathedral in Sligo to the Holy Well will take
place on 31st July beginning at the Cathedral at 4.45am and arriving at the
Holy Well for the 6.00am Dawn Mass. All Welcome.
Day of Prayer
Time of prayer and reflection takes place next Saturday 16th July in Carraroe
Church beginning at 10.30am and concluding at 4pm. Please bring packed
lunch. All welcome.
Tobernalt Holy Well
We are preparing the Holy Well for the Garland Weekend Celebrations.
Please assist us by keeping the grounds clean and tidy.
Parish Ministries
Summer time can be difficult for Parish Ministries. Please check the day and
date that you are helping out in the Parish. If you are not available, please try
and get a replacement. We welcome a new team of Altar Servers for the
summer period to our Church.
Baptisms
The Sligo cluster of parishes offers a special course for all couples
preparing for the Baptism of a child. The course takes place on the
third Thursday of each month and may be booked by contacting the
Parish Office.
Keeping our Church Tidy
We clean the Church every week and ask you as a parishioner and visitor to
help us keep it clean and tidy. Please return Missalette to the back or side door
after Mass. Your support is appreciated.
St. John's FC
Registration evening on Wed July 13th at 7pm in Cuilbeg and Wed July 20th
at 7pm in Cuilbeg. Forms are available on our website

Pre- Marriage Course - Accord Sligo
If you are getting married now is the time to do your Pre-Marriage by
contacting ACCORD at 071-9145641. The pre-marriage course should
be booked at least 3 - 6 months in advance of the wedding.
Community Centre
The Community Centre is in use for some days during the Summer period,
but others are free. Please contact the Parish Office for further
information and booking details.
