Festival of Faith will take place in Sligo from 19th

May, lead by members
of the Ember Team. Information Booklet is now available at the Church
Bookstand. Our parish will be involved in the Following:
Moring Mass – 10am: Members of the Embers team will speak at the morning
Mass.
Tobernalt Holy Well – Tuesday 20th
May at 3:30pm. Meeting at the Holy Well
with short History of the Holy Well, Prayers and Music. Please Note the Dates.
Tax Reclaim Forms – Final Week
If you have received a form reclaiming tax on your generous contribution to
the Church, please return it to us THIS WEEK. If not, forms are still
available at the back and side door. Employed self-employed, unemployed or
retired please return your form so we can update our records.

Garden of Resurrection
Our Easter Garden of Resurrection is at the front of the altar. It celebrates the
message of Easter – the reality the cross is not the end but a new beginning.
Our garden of life reminds us of the Resurrection and the importance of
recognising the risen Lord on the road of life, which is celebrated in our
Gospel this weekend. Take a little time to visit, pray and light a candle for
your intention.

Alzheimer Cafe : the Glasshouse Hotel, Friday 9th May 2014 from 11am to
13:00pm in the View Bar. Alzheimer Cafe mornings are free and anyone
affected by Dementia are welcome to attend. This month Francis Clifford,
Senior Case Worker with the HSE, will give an information session on Elder

O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were
pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious
message. We implore you, inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the
recitation of the Rosary. By meditating on the mysteries of the
redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues
that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

Tobernalt Holy Well
Tobernalt Holy Well is admired by many visitors to Sligo and adored by the
wider community in Sligo and beyond. During the month of May we have a
special opportunity to honour Our Lady in prayer at the Shrine.
Trocaire Appeal
Please return your Trocaire box or envelop this week. All money collected will
be forwarded to Trocaire, Maynooth, Co.Kildare.
Baptism/ Confirmation Certificates
Due to demand a request for Baptism/ Confirmation Certificates normally
takes up to one week. Normal donation is €10.
Cornageeha Community Games Swimming competitions take place on
Saturday 10th May at Sligo Regional Sports Complex
from 3pm to 4pm.Competitors must be at the pool for 2.45pm.
