Parking at Our Church
Please take care when parking at the Church for
weekend Masses. Plenty of Car parking is available in
and around the Community Centre. Also, the
overflow car park is available opposite the corner
shop. Please watch the main road when crossing. Parking with a little
care will make space for others and ensure all our safety.

Divine Mercy
Novena to the Divine Mercy takes place every Friday in Carraroe
Church beginning at 3:00pm. All are welcome to attend. Information
booklet available at the Church Bookstand.
Also: The Divine Mercy Holy Hour takes place in the Nazareth Oratory
every Friday beginning at 7:30pm.
Sunday Collection
Please continue to support our Sunday Collection. It is our only source
of income for the parish. Please use the parish envelopes throughout the
year. Thank you for your support.
Marriage Preparation Course
Accord Sligo provide Counseling and pre-marriage course throughout
the year. Contact the Accord Office at 0719145641 for more
information.
Text Alert System
The Text Alert system is now up and running in our Parish. Please note
the number on the signs in our parish and use the system if necessary.
Tobernalt Holy Well
The various shrines at the Holy Well
have been repaired, treated and
painted for the Garland weekend
Celebrations. Also the grounds are
cleaned and maintained on a regular
basis. Please keep our shrine clean
and tidy on your visit. Please note old candles can be placed
in the containers underneath the various shrines.
The Assumption
Celebrated every year on August 15, the
Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed
Virgin Mary commemorates the death of
Mary and her bodily assumption into
Heaven, before her body could begin to
decay--a foretaste of our own bodily
resurrection at the end of time. Because it
signifies the Blessed Virgin's passing into
eternal life, it is the most important of all Marian feasts and a Holy Day
of Obligation.
Parish Baptisms
Baptisms generally take place on the last Sunday of the
months. Please book by contacting the Parish Office. Also,
please remember that a Baptism Course is now available
at the Family Life Centre on the third Thursday of each month.
Booking can be made at the Parish Office.
Parish Choir
Our Parish Choir takes a break for the Summer period but will resume
in September. New members are always welcome to come along.
Regeneration Committee
Next meeting of the above committee takes place in Carraroe
Community Centre on 19th August beginning at 8:00pm. Your help
and support is always appreciated for the various projects as is
attendance at the meetings.
