Tax Reclaim Forms
We are currently reclaiming tax on your kind donation to our Church
during 2013. You should have received a letter and tax form by post.
Please fill in the form with your PPs number and sign in the places
indicated. You can return the form via or Sunday collection, to the
presbytery or drop it into the Sunday collection. If you have not receive
a form and are a PAYE worker copies are now available at the back
and side door.

Blessing of Candles will take place this weekend. A reminder that
Blessed Candles will be available in the Sacristy after Mass.

2. Community Centre - Some Events in the Community Centre
Card Game: Every Tuesday at 9:00pm. All are welcome to come along.
Social Danicing : Every Thursday evening beginning at 8:15pm. Classes in
all kinds of Dancing with full instruction.
Thump Boxing Classes :Every Wednesday beginning at 8pm. This is a non
contact sport which is suitable for all fitness levels. Contact Alan:

The Optimistic Child
A wonderful Programme for parents with children of any age begins on Tuesday
4th February in St. Michael's Family Life Centre, Church Hill. It runs over 6 weeks
starting at 10.30 am. This course is back by popular demand and aims to help
parents teach and instill in children an optimism which will help them in every
aspect of their lives, building resilience which can help them cope with any form of
bullying they may come across in life. Contact 9170329 to enroll.
Sligo Social Services: Would gratefully accept First Communion Dresses,
good quality clothing, unsoiled bedding, bric-a brac, or unwanted Christmas
gifts to be sold at the Thrift Shop on Harmony Hill. Contact 071-9145682

services in the local community.

The shrine to St, Anne and our Lady reminds us of our

Baptism/ Confirmation Certificates
Due to demand a request for Baptism/ Confirmation
Certificates normally takes up to one week.
Normal donation is €10.
St; John’s FC 5km Roads Race
Takes place on Sunday 9th March beginning at 2pm, starting and finishing at
Cuilbeg. Registration on the day from 12:30pm – 1:30pm. €10 per person, for
runners and walkers. Please support.
St John’s Community Development Association
Open meeting on Monday 10th February at 8:00pm in Clubhouse, Cuilbeg. All
are welcome to attend and support your community.
Bereaved
Your prayers are requested for Ted Nealon, Greenfort whose funeral
took place on Friday. We extend our sympathy and prayers to his
family and many friends. May he rest in peace.
