Tobernalt Holy Well
In preparation for the Garland Weekend Celebration at the Holy Well a
Work evening will take place this Thursday, 20th July beginning at 4.00pm.
The aim is to tidy up the grounds, spread some chippings and overall clean up
the area. Gardening equipment such as shovel, wheelbarrow, etc would be
helpful with this project. Thank you for your support and help.

Trocaire Collection
Trocaire are looking for your help with its appeal for famine in Africa this
weekend. Envelopes are available at the back and side door ofthe Church.
Please return it to us next week and we will send on your donations.
Church Sacristan
We are looking for a suitable person in our parish to take on the responsibility
of Parish Sacristan. Approximately 15 hours per week. Dutiesare setting up
the church for Mass, weddings, funerals and other events, checking supplier
and looking after the various ministers such as Altar Servers and Eucharistic
Minsters. Other tasks are assigned as the need arises. The job does not
involve cleaning the Church. Full training provided. Contact Fr. Jim for
further information. Salary Negotiable.
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock
Takes place on 20th August. There will be a 30km pilgrim walk
from Castlerea to Knock, starting at 6.40am. A programme for young people
aged 12-17 will take place at the HUB (Knock Youth Ministry) from 11am.

has a shortage ofgood quality bric a brac and household linens to sell in their
Thrift Shop on Harmony Hill. If you are having a clear out and have items to
donate then we would be very grateful to receive them. They can be dropped
at our yard on The Lungy. Unfortunately we cannot accept duvets, pillows,
toys or electrical items. Thank you for your support. All profits go towards
the work ofSocial Services.
CADRA Tidy Towns
The adjudication process for Tidy Towns has commenced and will continue
until end July. We ask all our regular weekly litter pickers to please assist as
usual with a regular weekly pick on your road .All litter picked in clear bags
can be left at collection point at Community Centre on Monday night or early
Tuesday morning .Residents and businesses are requested to make a special
effort to clean in front of their property in coming weeks.CADRA will supply
bags, gloves; Hi Vis jacket and picker to any newvolunteers just contact any
committee member.
CADRA Donation
CADRA wishes to acknowledge the donation of€100 by a local resident; the
person explained they cannot assist physically but really appreciate the work
carried out.
Derry Group
The Derry group who are walking to Knock will be visiting us next
Friday and Saturday, 21st and 22nd July. They will be staying in the
Community Centre and School over night and celebrating Evening
Mass on Friday evening at approximately 7.30pm. Please come along
and say "hello".

Triduum of Grace
A three night "Mini Mission" will take place in St. Anne's Parish, Cranmore Road,
Sligo. Beginning Tuesday July 25th to Thursday July 27th. Tuesday being Our Lady
of Fatima, Wednesday on St. Michael the Archangel (with a Michaelite Father coming
to speak) and Thursday being on the Most Holy Eucharist. Each night begins at
7.30pm. All most welcome
