2. Initial Reaction
My initial reaction for the FMP was that I wanted to make a film either a horror
film or an action film this is because the age group I want to aim at likes to watch
horror and action film. This is why I want to make a horror or action film because
I will get the attention of teens. I was thinking of different film ideas such as an
intruder or a ghost/demon. Or a bank heist setup or robbery set up. The reason
why I wanted to do an action or horror movie is because they are quite fun to
do. Also the resin why I wanted to do a horror movie because there where some
cool effects that I can use in the film, also I could I could use some unique
camera angles. The pros of making a horror film is the different ways you can
actually make the film because here are a lot of sun genres in horror and for the
different sub genres you will have to do different types of effects and camera
techniques to make it look good. A con of making a horror film is to actually
making the film scary because if you don’t make it scary then it isn't a horror film
and this is a con because it is quite hard to pull it off. The inspiration that I have
is a YouTube channel called crypt TV, they make lots of short horror films that are
really high quality and scary and also another YouTube channel which is corridor
digital because they are the ones who put the passion of filmmaking in me

7. Characters
Here are some some ideas of what I want some of my
characters to look like. I was thinking of either doing a
intruder or some ghost/demon looking character. And
also what my character may look like. This also gives me
some ideas how to colure grade my film. The reason why
I want to use a mask because I want to keep the identity
of the killer a secret which will keep the tension high so
when you end up seeing the killer it is a shock. Also using
a mask makes the scene a lot more scary because that
person could be anyone which puts the sense of dread in
you because if someone attacks you with a mask on and
you survive you have no evidence because they had their
identity hidden

9. location
These are some ideas I have for my setting and my
location. The main location that I am thinking of using is
the house location/basement. The lighting will be dark so
the setting will be creepy and spooky. But the setting may
get lighter because I might want the ending to be funny at
the end but I am not sure about that yet. The problem
about filming in the dark that it is hard to see the actors
but the other problem is that if I film it in the day the
mood would change a lot so what I would do is film at
dusk so it is dark enough to be spooky and scary but light
enough to film. The other think I could do it just have
some lights so we can see the actors.

11. Props
These are are some the props that I have had in mind to
use in my film for example the weapons at the top are
some I have had in mind for my killer. The killer in my
mind stereotypically carry’s a knife so for that reason I
will be using a knife for the killers weapon. The killer will
be wearing a knife because like what I touched on earlier
about masking the killer, it keeps the killer hidden and it
makes the atmosphere more tense because you don’t
know who the killer is or if he is even human or not,
could he be disfigured or normal looking. It will leave us
with questions we want to be answered

12. Mood Board Analysis
The majority of the colures are going to be all dark colures such as dark
blues, blacks and then also some aspects of grey, the whole tone of
the film will be dark, spooky and scary this will link to the colure of my
film because the tone will link with the dark colure I have chosen. In
horror films they use quite a lot of camera techniques such as hand
held shots, close ups, over the shoulder shot and canted angle (Dutch
angle) to name a few. My character board is full of interesting
character ideas some are the ideas I have for my killer/demon/ghost,
and also some ideas of how my protagonist will look like. The same
goes with my other 2 boards my location board has given me a lot of
ideas where I would film my film such as in a forest or in a creepy
house or in a cellar. And finally my prop board what prop ideas I have
such as a knife or a gun for my killer and a mask for my killer because I
want to hide is identity
