15. Volunteers are needed to assist in a variety of areas of the Country Stampede --from VIP
Hospitality to our Beverage stands. In exchange for your time and commitment, you will
receive exclusive volunteer benefits as well as being a part of the team that puts on one of

Meatloaf Cook-Off & Festival! This day-long downtown family
fun festival includes a meatloaf & pie bake-off contests plus
many activities and attractions.

-The Oregon Trail Gang - live bluegrass music in Woodman Hall
-Zerf, the Original Kansas Cowboy Minstrel, cowboy musician &
poet on the downtown streets of Paxico
-Frank Buchman and his horse May -downtown carriage rides

Commerce Yellow Ribbon Social Group! We meet monthly at varying locations
in the Manhattan community. Join us for great food, make some new friends
and build a support team filled with folks who know what you are going
through– because they are too!
These events are ‘dutch-style’, meaning you spend as much or as little as you
would like per outing. We do not allow children at these functions. Have

24. The Great Midwest Balloon Festival (hot air balloons) is looking for
Volunteers. They need 12-15 people to help each balloon as it's being
filled. If you've ever been to a festival like this... it requires a LOT of
Volunteers! These hours will count toward your Volunteer hours (Soldiers,
for your MOVSM) and a great time.
Volunteers are the force behind each year's successful event. The Great
Midwest Balloon Fest would not happen without the help of our many
volunteers! Each volunteer will get the following:
•FREE admission
•FREE t-shirt
•FREE lunch or dinner.
Each Volunteer Shift is for three hours. No guarantees, but every attempt
will be made to accommodate your request. Openings are still available for
most Volunteer Categories. Must be 16 years of age to volunteer. If you

are NOW required to receive prior approval before
being seen for medical treatment. If you do not
receive prior approval, you could be obligated to
