The America Red Cross is a non-governmental organization
with the aim of lowering human suffering during emergencies
through mobilization of power from the volunteers and generous
donors. It is a worldwide organization with many branches all
over the world. Some of theactivities that they do include
holding blood donations events, helping the needy people may
be affected by the natural calamities like drought, flood,
lightening, etc. The organization also attends those suffering
from accidents all over the world. It is purely a non-profit
organization geared to helping the needy all over the world.
These goals pushed us to helping the organization to raise more
funds.
To hit our target, we intend to market some pieces of
historical artifact in the nation. The sale is to be on an open
ground and this time we want to avoid all the challenges we
found on our previous event. The sorting of the artifacts
according to the time they were popular was initially a problem
though at the moment, we have accessed a team of elders who
will of great help in sorting the artifacts.
We have improved on the way to get these artifacts too.
The elder people have promised to help us to talk to the people
so as to get a good number of them. We are also ready with
many smart phones to take photos to those hard to get them
easily. We have communicated with the authority, and they are
very positive on our idea. We want to make this fund-raising a
great one and, as a result, we have set some measures to make
out event a successful one. From our previous activities, we
have realized that the young adult and the youths form the
bigger part of our donation. Though not excluding the older
people and children, we want to makesurethateveryyouth and
young adult is alerted on the exact day and venue of fund
raising. These people will help us in alerting other people that
are hard to reach.
We have decides to use the social media as our key
communication for both charges factors and more so, to reach a
good number of people. We have talked to the organization to
use their site as part of the communication means. We want to
have a successful event. To capture many people’s attentions,
we have written some catchy articles of the benefits this
donation leads to. We shall use some photos of suffering people
and post the to various social media groups to alert people about
the donation.
We are now strong to face any challenge that emerged
in the previous fundraising. We will educate the people about
the need to help the organization to help other people both in
American and other parts of the world. We have also
communicated to the necessary local authority through the
organization to be allowed to carry out a fundraising event. We
have already started communicating to the youths about the
fundraising and the locations, and they are so positive to take
part. Their comments and likes in the social media sites like
Facebook, MySpace and several whats app groups is a good
indication of a forthcoming success.
The organization promised to avail some tents in the
different points we want to carry out the fundraising. This will
solve the previous challenge that we had about a harsh weather
condition. Our target is to get more than $2000 in the donation,
and this will be of great help to the organization and more so to
our project success. We have some volunteers who are ready to
help us in the donation, and we have assigned each of the three
members a point with three other volunteers who have been
greatly attracted to our project.
There will be some small expenditure as we have to
feed the volunteers with some drinks and lunch during the
event. The organization promised to offer free transport using
their vehicles, and this has really cut short the cost we could
have incurred. Our main aim is the places with a good number
of people like at the market place.
During the fundraising day, we are planning to get
bigger catchy photos of the organization, and we will also add
our about the need to donate something. Just before the day of
the donation, we will visit those areas to alert the people of the
donation day. This will be done through moving across out
target area with the photos to send a message to the people
about the event. We will also go talking to people about the
event.
The great challenge will be walking as we want to do
this in an open place. More still, weather conditions can still be
a big effect though we plan doing it at places with trees to
provide shade. The members who volunteered to help us are
okay with the campaign and the main event too. They also want
to see us succeed in helping the needy. We all hope for the best.

There will also be two short books reports (no less than 1 and

consultation with the instructor students will choose two books
from this list and write a report or synopsis of the book and
show how it relates to the topic of modern European history.
With a prior approval of the instructor students can also write
