service and sermon presentation. Lessons are taught at an age appropriate level utilizing
music, games, drama & multimedia & other methods.

3. New Prayer Requests:
t Pray that a very promising treatment plan will be
available for Dave Timmer who will have a consultation
at U of M on Wednesday for melanoma.
t Pray for healing for Al Riemersma who had hernia
surgery last Thursday, Jane Tiffany who had hip replacement last Monday
and Annette Stone who had knee replacement last Tuesday,
t Pray for Larry Pete who has been in Holland Hospital for a mass in his
stomach and will most likely have surgery in the coming week. While in the
hospital, he also developed a bad case of shingles. Pray for healing.
t Pray that our Vacation Bible School starting tomorrow will be a very
successful outreach event for our church and community.

SOCIAL LIGHTS BEACH NIGHT! Join the Social Lights and other middle-
agers every Wednesday night at the beach until the end of August. The
group meets by the channel south of the bike racks at Holland State Park.
Come anytime after 6:30 p.m. and stay ‘til sunset. Bring chairs, drink, and
a dessert to pass if you like or just come for fun and fellowship! Get to
know other middle-agers of the church more intimately. For more information, talk to
Rosey Boardman at 399-0506.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL Join others every Tuesday evening throughout
the summer at Holland State Park at 7:00 p.m. for some beach volleyball!
All ages and all skill levels are invited. Meet in the North parking lot at the

WEDNESDAY MEN’S GATHERING” Join other Parkside men for a time
of devotions, praying together, talking about life and enjoying a good cup of
coffee! Stop by the church on Wednesday mornings from 6:30-7:30 a.m.

SUPPORT PARKSIDE’S SOFTBALL NEWS! Softball practice for
team members is today at 3:00 p.m. at Wendt Park. The congregation is
encouraged to come to their next game and cheer the team on! The game
this Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Helder Park in Zeeland located at Quincy and
104th. Our team will be playing Montello Park Church.
YOUNG COUPLES “DATE NIGHT” Join other young adults for miniature
golf this Saturday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. at Sundae Sundae Golf Golf
located at 631 East Lakewood Blvd. in Holland. This is adults only event
with no child care provided. All are welcome to stop by Jerry & Katie Ludlow’s

MISSION TEAM CAR WASH Support the Quad Cities Mission Team
by getting your car washed this Saturday, June 23, at the church
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
PLAY AND PICNIC Beginning on Tuesday, June 26, you and your
children have an opportunity to meet at Helder Park in Zeeland from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a time of playing and visiting with others! Use the
104th Street entrance just north of Hunters Creek and bring a picnic
lunch for your family! Other dates planned for Play and Picnic are
Tuesday, July 17, and Thursday, August 23. If you have any questions,
