and that there are no serious complications from her recent

continues chemo treatments and deals with side effects;

granddaughter, Alissa, who had a blood platelet disorder
when she was 3 but it has now returned;

SR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP: Join our group tonight for CREATE night with

CEDAR POINT TRIP!
If you signed up for our Cedar Point overnight
trip on October 16-17, please be at the church at
4:30 pm (no earlier) this Friday, so we can leave
at 5:00 pm sharp. We will be returning to the
church around midnight on Saturday.
FAMILY BIBLE HOUR - Attendance last Sunday: 149

GOING AWAY RECEPTION FOR KELLY DEBOER TODAY!
Today is Kelly DeFrell’s last Sunday with us before being deployed with the Army
National Guard to serve in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is located in the
Middle East on the Persian Golf. All are welcome to stay after church for refreshments
this morning in the Fellowship Hall and to extend best wishes to Kelly.
FUNDRAISER DINNER FOR PASTOR MATT & SHARON
To help offset medical bills for the Amundsen’s, a fundraiser
dinner will be held on Saturday, November 7, at 6:30 pm
at the church. The menu is soup, salad and potato bar. The
cost is $10 per person or $25 per family. If you would be
willing to help out or donate food, please see Julie Hapke
or Ruthann VanAelst.

SUNDAY EVENING SERVICE—THE BOOK OF REVELATION Plan to
attend our Sunday evening service at 6:00 pm tonight as we go through
the book of Revelation. Join us for a great time of fellowship around
God’s Word through 12/6. Bring your Bible and a friend as we walk
through some of the most descriptive passages of God’s plan for
humanity and His people Israel.
LAST STUDY ON BOOK OF DANIEL This Wednesday from 7:00 -
8:00 pm, Harold Kimbel will be holding his last Bible study for the year
and all are invited! The topic is the Millennial Kingdom and how it will
look. The group meets in Room A3.
LIFT WOMEN’S EVENT Please plan to join other ladies this Thursday,
October 15, from 6:30-8:00 pm for our first LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship
Together) event of the year! All women are invited...and bring your
friends. We will be crafting wood Turkey Pokes, Pumpkins and
Scarecrows. There is a signup sheet on the Women’s Ministry counter
and there is still time to sign up. If you are bringing friends, please sign
them up too so we will have enough supplies. There is no charge for the
event and everything will be provided - including snacks! Any questions,
please see Connie Bean, Katie Jacobs or Grace Stone.
LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT! Ladies, sign up at the Women’s
Ministry Counter for dinner and games at 5:30 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 16.
We’ll be meeting at Pizza Ranch located in front of the Meijer store on
16th Street then coming back to the church for simple card games and
snacks. It’s a great opportunity to meet other ladies of the church!

located on the table outside the library. (New books have been added
