KIDS CAMP HIGHLIGHT FROM JOHN TOOKE
The day’s theme centered around loving God. During the Story Time
Puppet Show, I sat next to a boy who seemingly was not paying
attention to the puppet show. A couple of times, I reached over and
patted his shoulder, just to let him know I was there and that I cared for
him. As the story time concluded, the children were asked to pray.
This precious boy quietly folded his hands, bowed his head and began
praying. How wrong I was to conclude he was bored or not listening!
Our children are sponges and pick up more than we think. Thank you,
Parkside Kids Camp leaders and support staff, for your love of children.
Thank you everyone for your prayers. With eternity in view, many
seeds were planted, and we give God glory for the harvest!”

THE GOSPEL…
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin
is death but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrated
His love for us in this - that while we
were sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans: 10:9 - If you declare with
your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and
believe in your heart that God raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are
you saved through faith and not of
yourselves. It is a gift from God, not
of works, lest any man should boast.
