3. New Prayer Requests:
t Pray for Jon Van Dyke who started a very rigorous treatment plan
last Monday for his Lyme disease. Pray that this time it will work and
that he will have the strength to get through it with minimal side
effects.
t Pray for healing for Becky Taylor who had surgery last Thursday.
t Pray for peace all of those who have lost loved ones serving our country and safety
for those who are currently in the military.
t Praise the Lord that Al Jacobs was released from Tender Care and went home
yesterday.
t Praise the Lord that Cathie Raby’s 2nd mammogram and ultrasound were good.
However, please pray for her as she now has a torn groin muscle & bursitis in her hip.
t Praise the Lord that Dave Timmer received a good pathology report. There was
only one melanoma spot in all the back tissue that was removed on 5/10.
Continued Prayer Requests:
t For continued healing for all who have had recent surgeries and illnesses;
t For the homebound: Mary Carmichael, Judy Blauwkamp, Kay Everett, and
Nelvie VanKampen;
t For all marriages in the church - that those that are strained may be restored;
t For our children of all ages to lead Godly lives and make wise choices;
t For the unsaved - that they will accept Jesus as their personal Savior and for
those who have been saved recently that God will show Himself in their lives;
t For our country and that we as a nation will turn to Christ for guidance.

EVERGREEN CHORALE CONCERT The Evergreen Chorale invites you to their 12th annual
Spring Concert on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Dewitt Auditorium at Zeeland High School
East, 3333 96th Street in Zeeland. The concert will feature many favorites including folk songs,
anthems, spirituals, show-stopping pieces and their Tulip Time Show! There is no admission
charge; however a free will offering will be taken.
BARNABAS MINISTRIES This summer Barnabas Ministries will be “Building Community” with
a group of young women who desperately need to know that their community cares about them.
Barnabas Ministries Girls Group meets on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:30 pm July 26
through August 14. Group mentors, transporters and snacks are needed. Please contact

GGF FAMILY BIBLE CONFERENCE Save the date...July 17-20, for Grace Gospel Fellow-
ship’s 70th Annual Conference held at Rush Creek Bible Church in Byron Center. Enjoy
inspirational speakers, service projects, workshops, Bible studies and great Christian fellow-
ship. For the teens, there will be “Ignite 2013 Radically Practicing Grace.” Pick up a brochure

CHILDCARE WORKERS NEEDED! There are six time slots at the Grace Gospel Fellowship
Conference that need to be filled for childcare. They are in need of 2-3 people to staff nursery

time walking! It’s a beautiful view of Lake Mac and Lake Michigan
from the top.

Trip 5K Fun Run/Walk fundraiser on June 8 or just want

INFORMATION
REGISTER YOUR KIDS TODAY FOR VBS!
Pick up a registration form (one per family) at
the VBS table in the Fellowship Hall. VBS is for kids entering K-6th
grade this fall. It will be held from June 17-June 21 at the church
from 9:15 a.m. to noon. Completed forms can be placed in the tray
on the VBS table, given to Amanda Zandstra or turned in at the
church office.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR VBS:
Western/equestrian themed items to be used as decorations

20 oz. cans the height of a popsicle stick (ie Dole pineapple cans)
A large old tarp (not to be returned) or old plastic table cloths

VBS OUTREACH WITH
LEISURE ESTATES!

Safety Event”

ROSE PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
PARKING LOT (Butternut & James)
Parkside VBS will sponsor games and prizes and other kids’ fun activities
at this event which will target the Leisure Estates kids! We need volunteers
to work with Ria and Scott in manning the activities and also providing
information and registration for our Vacation Bible School held June 17-21.
We will also be promoting our Youth Group and Pioneer Clubs.
We are teaming up with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Leisure
Estates Mobile Home Community, Holland Charter Twp. Fire Dept.,
AMR Ambulance and M.A.R.I.A.
This event will be advertised in the newspapers, at area schools
and with neighborhood business establishments. It is a wonderful
outreach program. We are in need of someone to do face painting
(youth welcome) and to work with Ria from 4:45-6:20 pm for VBS
promotion/registration.

USE OF CHURCH TABLES/CHAIRS
The church has a number of tables and chairs that can be
loaned out to our members and regular attendees; however,
with graduation and yard sale season upon us, it is very
important that you reserve these items in advance with Judy.
No church property can be loaned out without prior approval.
