OUTSIDE OPPORTUNITIES
MICHIGAN’S VOICE: NO TAXES FOR ABORTION INSURANCE PETITION Parkside is taking part in
gathering signatures for a petition to initiate legislation to remove automatic abortion payments from health
insurance. Thus, we will not be forced to pay for someone else’s abortion and those who want it would
have to purchase a separate rider from any insurance plan in Michigan, whether public, private or plans
under Obama Care. By gathering 400,000 valid signatures throughout Michigan, we as citizens will be
putting the legislation before our Michigan legislature for a veto-proof vote. The governor’s signature will
not be needed. If interested, please sign a petition located on the table outside the church office.
Be sure to sign on the correct page for your county. If you would be interested in taking home a petition
to have friends and family sign it, you can pick one up on the table.

Thank you to my church family for all your
prayers, cards and visits by Pastor Rob
during my recent surgery and hospital stay.
Brian Mokma
Thank you, Parkside, for your prayers and
concern for my daughter, Khristina, who was
severely beaten and burned. Your prayers have
been felt and have been answered as Khristina
has been released from the hospital and is
doing quite well considering her injuries. She
is staying in a hospitality house in Kalamazoo near Bronson Hospital. She has
had many skin grafts and has a long way to go in the healing process. As the
nerves in the burn area grow back, she will be in a lot of pain. We would
greatly appreciate prayers for not only the healing of her body but also for the
healing for her mind and spirit. Thank you also to those who offered to drive
us to Kalamazoo to be with Khristina. God bless all of you!
Love in Christ, Jean Heller
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, Thank you so much for your generous gift
toward the ministry in Malawi. In just 3 short weeks, we will be boarding
our return flight. Please remember us in your prayers as we spend time with
family and say our good-byes. It is sure to be an emotional time!
Only by His Grace, Titus & Kristy Lloyd, Zech, Matt and Maggie
Dear Pastor Rob and Family of Believers: How we appreciate you for your
faithful support and prayers for us. We face very few physical hardships but
see the most challenging battle in the spiritual realm! So we need you to be
praying. For the first time, Judy bought some toys and books to have a
nursery. We have one boy 1 1/2 - 2 years old and another boy either 6 or 8.
But this is a good start. Judy and I do the worship music when we are in town
which is a blessing. Next week, we go to Cambodia to speak. Thanks again
for your prayers and support.
Love in Christ, Tim & Judy Heath,
