Kensaku Komatsu from NTT Communications introduced the Skyway platform, a communication PaaS launched in 2013 with over 4,000 applications. The presentation covered its status, use cases in online gaming, education, and IoT, and highlighted plans for improved stability and interoperability. Future contributions to WebRTC are set to be open-sourced, including testing frameworks and innovative applications like tele-existence.
